I thoroughly enjoy playing Solomon's Keep, but it sucks that it is so short. 13 floors just doesn't make for enough hours of gameplay... It's great that I can play it again at wizard difficulty, but rather than traversing the same floors again, I wish Solomon had escaped to another keep somewhere else. Sirius can pass his first test for having "banished" Solomon, and then proceed to his next undertaking in chasing Solomon to the next keep (or forest or island or whatever). Just wishing ... and wishing ... and wishing....
Yeah, but it's a sort of sideways game... i.e. it doesn't really extend the "storm the keep" gameplay. But it's a portable game... it's supposed to be short!
FYI, 2.1 has been submitted. It'll only be pulled if beta testers find any last minute things. Now onward to the graveyard expansion.
Haha, i showed my friend this game and he went from being obsessed with Generals to buying this and obsessed with this. Word of mouth works! But he is on floor 10 and is sad its almost done. I sent you a PM about a game idea... What is the difference with Graveyard? like i dont understand what you mean by it is not the same storm the castle gameplay.
Just so you guys know, 2.1 is pretty much awesome. I've been (trying) to help out with the beta, but since it's pretty much rock solid it's just been easy going. I can't wait for the graveyards!
I hope the 2.1 update includes the level 21 spell bug fix. I just got this awesome epic ring that +2 to all skills but since my health and mana are maxed out, the ring reseted them to minimum again. This means I can't use some of my high-level mana-consuming spells.
So something really sad happened to me a minute ago. -_- I'm on the second difficulty of the game on Floor 7. I went to the bottom part of the map where the door way to the ledge walkway on the outside of the castle and it put me in a place right by the walkway where I can't move at all. I've tried using the teleport spell, exiting the game, etc. and nothing works. I really don't want to have to restart the game . Is there any way this is fixable?
I just got stuck inside the wall as well! Good news is that the new update is going to fix this. Not sure how though since we are already stuck. The update has been submitted as well apparently. So all I can do now is sit and wait for the update.
Sigh... yeah, that's fixed in 2.1, but it's only fixed so it won't happen again. If the iPhone was an open OS, I could get your savegame, tweak it, and send it back to you (I'm used to doing fixes like this for Windows), but on the iPhone, all I can do is apologize.
It might, but if I fiddled with it and sent it back I'd be violating my Apple publishing contract. I could give you the location of some coordinates to change, if you have a hex editor.
It seems we've hadd a couple issues where people would like to have a patch repair their saved game files. Would it be possible to make the saved game automatically move your character back to town whenever an update is downloaded?
