I was just wondering, will you be dropping the price when you release the update or expansion?

Well, it'll depend on how sales go. I always lower the price to the minimum I can get away with. Generally, I prefer to sell more at a low price than fewer at a high price. But with SK off the "news" boards, volume isn't very big any more, so I have to make up for it with a higher price.

If the expansion sales go well, then yeah, I'll lower the game price to 99 cents again.

Really excited about Hardcore mode. :D

Still working through the challenges in 2.0. I haven't been brave enough so far to try the no-items challenge, since nearly every game I use either a +exp or a +gold item to level up much faster.

Also, I'm super excited about the Graveyard coming!! Hopefully that'll give us something to compete over in this thread. ;)

Is there a lite? I have been thinking about this one for a while but waiting on the bugs and possible price drop. Sounds like neither is real valid with the update coming soon!

Ya there is a lite version. I was on the fence and then waited for the lite and liked it. Now I am waiting for a price drop or I am just going to cave.

Yeah, sorry, but I gotta be that guy.

    BUY IT!

It's two bucks! You're waiting for it to drop one whole dollar? Really? The game is FANTASTIC, the developer is terrific, the support and future content is all far, far, far more valuable than 1 measly buck.

Please cave. Support great products and developers like SK and Raptisoft.

    Aw thanks man.
But just to note: Most of the big coming updates will be in-app purchases. There's a few things coming down the line that will be free upgrades (like some more graphics for the dungeons, and more save slots), but new character classes and all "big endeavors" will be 99 cents.

I think that in hardcore mode it shouldn't, and also maybe instead of it automatically healing you, you can go to one of the guys and for a small price, smaller than buying potions, you would get all your health back.

    What do you mean?

edit: Bought, Will most likely be buying the in app purchase too. I just spend my money carefully, as i dont have a lot of income ie. none.

review coming too, i just hate those stupid 1 star reviews that mean nothing or are lies that f up your star count.

Maybe a Mod could change the name of the thread to reflect it being 99 cents for 24 hours?

This is really a very amazing game and I'm loving it. But does no potion mean no magical items either? Because I think I failed it... or I just mistakingly pressed the wrong one sadly... There's also a bug where if you level and there's an archer shooting at you, the arrow slows down a lot for a bit.

Also... wow I have really bad luck. I bought this game like 3 hours ago and now its dropped in price @_@

no bug, every time you level up, enemies and their attack slow down for a while

I think no-potions just means no potions. And like another poster said, the post-level-up slowdown is intentional.

It's not bad luck. Think of it as you had the opportunity to support the dev a little more than the rest of us. :D

Is a welded spell always better than what its coming from? Like if i have a very strong lightning, and a weld it with a medium magic missile, will the result be better than the lightning always?

No, just the opposite, a weld will be weaker than the strongest, and stronger than the weakest, but it leans weaker.

The power of welding is to get four sub-effects onto a single spell-- for instance, More Missles + Chaining + Potent Missiles + Stun, all on one spell.

It also pulls some invisible attributes from the spells as well-- for instance, melding lightning to magic missile will also give you a much faster firing rate.

I will get a page going with all this on it soon, honest.

So I have run into a couple of problems. The first one is gaining exp. I don't know if it's because I'm lv31 or something but I really don't gain levels anymore... like the exp rate slowed down by A LOT really quickly and I haven't lved in like 2-3 floors. The second thing is fighting the Monoculus, I used the door to get back to town and come back but I died. Next time I tried, he completely disappeared from the whole floor @_@. I don't know if this was intentional or a bug but yeah.

    I'm playing on Wizard difficulty.
Oh yeah another thing is... how do you get rid of the lightening mages' shield??? I can't get rid of it and he zaps me 3 times and I'm fried
