This is really new. Anything more you can tell me about it? Any chance you can take a video of it happening and post it on youtube? Do you have a bugged item in your inventory? I'd be curious to know if the problem persists if you restart your game.
This seems to happen after I quit the game from the "?" menu and then immediately start playing the game again. After that the game crashes, approximately 50-25% of the time, the next time I try to collect some money. If I quit the game from the "?" menu, hit the "home" button, and then restart the game, no problem. Hope that helps. And for the record, this is amazing game. If I had to keep only one game on my iphone, Solomon's Keep would be it! Thanks for making such a great game!
Is it possible to dodge lightning attack from those skeleton mages? They seem to not only damage a lot, but slows down movement as well. Also why does the game go back to the loading screen and load for like a whole minute whenever the game is interrupted (ie by a phone call)? Why not just go to the pause screen? Bugs: - Movement seems to freeze for a few seconds if you cast Acid Rain and there are too many enemies inside the cast area (at the moment of casting) already - Still possible for items to appear inside a wall if a boss is killed near a wall
I love the increased difficulty in the update! However, I do have one request for the next one... please make it so that either a) enemies CAN'T fire projectiles over chests, or b) the player CAN fire projectiles over chests. I hate walking into a room where a ton of spell-casting and/or arrow-launching enemies are entrenched safely behind a row of chests, lobbing volleys of projectiles at me. Blarg! Just a relatively minor complaint in the grand scheme of things... overall, the game is superb!
I think I hit another bug. Playing as Wizard, level 32, on the 8th floor, the 4 four room map with the Boss locked away in top 5th room. I found one treasure chest filled with gold in the 3rd room, and entered the 4th and final room. Using a weld of fireballs and magic missiles, ring of fire, acid rain and teleport. Entered the room, hit the ring of fire, started throwing fireballs, went to hit acid rain, but missed and accidently teleported out of the room. When I returned to clean out the room there wasn't another treasure chest in that 4th and final room, so I couldn't find a Boss key, and now the game is over. Hope that helps.
Damage Resistance Love the game - but please please please cap damage resistance if you collect damage resistance gear you can easily get over 100% and become invincible. I suggest 75% cap.
Please allow us to continue a new game of Archmage difficulty after beating Archmage instead of restarting the game with Lv1, 0 gold and no equipments...
I've run through SK about 45 times now....and only one time ever did I get 100% DR. Good point; it shouldn't quite hit 100....then again, that's extremely rare.
This game is awesome! I have a question about the stats page. Does it show 'actual' dps? if I put a 50% faster cast ring, it doesn't show an increase, but I'm assuming I get an approximate 50% increase? Are there other effects that arent reflected? One thing I dislike is the limit of 4 skills available for purchase. If they were standard, 4 would be fine, but I've had so many playthroughs where I ket getting money and had nothing to spend it on (around 20k now)
Well if you have absolutely nothing to spend it on, you could always just buy experience. Also after you win on normal and wizard difficulty starts, the guy sells a different 4 spells, I believe that's also true when going to archmage difficulty.
No, it doesn't show DPS, it's just how much damage each individual bolt will do assuming normal firing rate. Lightning shows DPS, but it does not reflect the faster caster rings or skill bonuses. For lightning, though, you can basically just multiply the number you see by the faster percentage, because that's what the program does.
Before I start a new round of SK, I often find myself resetting the game pretty often if I don't get a good selection of rings/staffs/abilities to purchase. Is there any way you can make resetting the game less time consuming? The way it's set up now, you have to go to options, reset the game, then you touch play and the W A I T for the "It was a dark and stormy night" to be done....and then you have to go talk to the green mage.....then the other two mages to see what's available. I was thinking that there can be a shuffle button only when it is the first time visiting the two mages...Do you know what I mean??? Also, is there a way you can implement an easier way to rearrange the items you currently are carrying? I find it difficult to locate the proper ring/staff that I want when that when I have a bunch of them in my inventory. I understand how to rearrange them in the current version, but it's just really annoying. lol
I have to agree with this. There have been a number of times where I wished I was able to arrange my items.
well. i dont know how big are touchboxes, but sometimes it's hard to open inventory during intensive fight, because touchbox of inventory is not expanded to the right. why not? this area close to health bar is unused.
you can rearrange, just equip the item, and when unequipping, tap the equipped item and then tap the position in your inventory where you want it to go
Yeah, many times I've had to tap multiple times to open the inventory and use my secondary skills during intense fights - not sure if the game is not registering the tap or if I'm missing the buttons. I'm on level 9 now of wizard difficulty, and I've died multiple times now because the inventory and/or skills sometimes just don't activate, even after multiple taps.
Resetting game easily: Never! This is odious cheating, and I only wish I could program the iPhone to give you a shock when you do this and dial all your friends to tell them who King of Teh Lame is. As for the second, more reasonable request... yeah, I realize the inventory system isn't the most beautiful or handy thing in the world. The size of the iPhone screen is the real obstacle here, but I'll see if in one of the future updates I can do anything with it. No promises, but I will try.
