    LOL.

I'm staring at the home screen since 20 minutes (and counting) undecided if buying a new deck or upgrading my warrior.

When you are around 'quest' 10-12 you have enough money and spells to start trying new combos and strategies.
    Absolutely brilliant.

One of my favorite for low critters is getting as soon as you can the triple gold power, the double gold ring and the split columns spell.
When the board is full, I split columns, cast the triple gold per card spell, then try to chain as much as I can.
Whatever the final result, you are full of gold in no time.
So you will buy the powerful spells in no time.

Dang you beat the game already? Is there stuff to do after the main story?

He said he beat it with the warrior deck. There are other decks to unlock, so yes, more to do. Not sure what other than that though.

I just beat the game once with the stock warrior deck my playbtime is 2.2 hours according to ios battery app in settings

And now saving to fully update the warrior deck and buying wizard deck

You got a lot to do
    1. Buying new deck
2 upgrading deck: buying upgraded A, Q, K and adding more item slots

The story is not really necessary... Looking foreard to play other deck...

I will leave leap of fate for awhile for this game
    It's that good...

    From what i remember

    - bearded : you can destroy it immediately with chain but if yo do and attack with swords you'll need to do it twice

    - dazed(sparklingcard): the card will change itself to another number every turn

    - frozen card(blue freezing): you need to do combo twice on them to get rid of the card, the first time you strike it will make your card mirror the frozen card

    - poison card (green cloud): if you dont destroyed it it will make you lose 1 HP per turn per card

    - minion card (flashing red) it can attack if commanded by the enemy 2 damage /turn/ card

    - bomb (black bomb circle with counting down number): if it's not destroyed in 3 turn it will explode and damage you 5hp( if im not mistaken) and also will damage card surrounding it

    - Sticky (pink gum): i think it's the same as frozen without the mirroring effect

    - Sticky locked card (keyhole shaped gum): you have to destroy 2 cards marked with a key before you can destroy this card

    - stone/ iron card (blacked): you need to strike it twice to destroy it

    - multiplying card(green): the card will keep multiplying to its back in a column until max 12 cards

I dunno if i missed any cards
But you actualy can read the description of the card, just hold on the screen until the description appear

you can long tap on the cards that are bearded, etc., and the game tells you what they do- the tutorial should probably mention that.

Just won with the base (not upgraded) monk deck. What a great game!

Is it intended that xray glasses not show cards that the opponent added to the card rows through healing?

This game is playing card bliss and a beautifully realized experience. I haven't had any issues and don't mind the lack of in game music because the sound effects are so rich and detailed. This was definitely worth the year long wait since I first heard about it. I echo the words mentioned earlier that this is definitely classic iOS gaming territory in the vein of Dungeon Raid.

Sorry if it's a stupid question or already been addressed, but does anyone know if there is any system to how the loot appears for sale in the shop? Is it a complete refresh from a random pool after each battle. Is it random, or will I see exactly these items appear in exactly this order every run?

I'll admit here that I started out thinking this game is "so so" for the first hour or more. It felt like I was just destined to match the cards in ascending or descending order and my choices were fairly cont strained. But suddenly interesting items started to become available in the shop, and I was spending more time looking at the shop weighing up my "to purchase or not to purchase" thoughts. That's when I realised this game is a little bit special. It's just as much about smart game play in the solitaire game as it is about smart and planned choices in the shop.
Still, I'm actually finding myself thinking, I wish there was a version of this game that went a little bit further with these spells. I wish there was more spell slots (and I guess the enemies more difficult to compensate?), so that we could put even more spells together. But I know that's part of the core mechanic, having to way up a tight synergy between spells. Even still, I'd love to go all out with a bigger bunch of them!!

A couple of questions as Iean toward buying this game as I love the concept of mixing solitaire into different games such as fairway golf and pocket cards jockey on the Nintendo 3ds.

    1) rogue -- makes me nervous with the potential level of frustration and not feeling like any progress is accounted for.. I get that this is the idea of a rogue game which is what makes it challenging and not as full blown as RPG or a character being developed and crying over anything to the next game etc...

Just curious as I'm not usually one to buy rogue games.

    2) luck or skill

Solitaire is a luck based game with skill as it is based on 52 cards that are shuffled. Does this game use specific parameters as well so that you feel it is "fair" and either has a set amount of cards in play or can it feel a bit lopsided or more luck driven without a set parameter of cards that might be in play.

My apologies for newbie questions I'm just curious on these two areas...

    1. It is not frustrating at all you do get randomized spell and item you can buy at the shop so each run would be different, those item and spell only last a run, when you die it's gone. but you could get permanent perk by upgrading your deck and adding more item slot

The AI is also very forgiving, and ramp up nicely until you meet up with the final boss, you'll die during campaign but you'll gain wildcard currency to upgrade your deck permanently

    2. I would think it's a mix between skill and luck, but lean toward skills, you'll never die because of your card run out, you'll die only if you lose your HIt points, it's your skill that matters especialy during the dinal boss it can get pretty intense

Buy it you wont regret it

Also chec card crawl if you like solitaire kinda thing

I just played for half an hour on an iPhone 6+ and lost 15%. Of course, everybody's mileage varies, but this seems about as expected for a game that uses the Unreal Engine.

A very minor bug for the devs, as they were active here yesterday.

If you receive a call while playing, you don't get sound after you resume.
Kicking out the app from memory solves this of course.

    iPhone 6S, latest OS.

This mostly seems like a SE problem. I've seen an iPad mini with the same issue. Hope they're gonna fix this ASAP

Sorry about this. FYI, we are aware of this too. There is a rarer issue with some iPad mini's and iPad 2's. Many, including our test devices, have been confirmed to work fine and from the info we have gathered there isn't an obvious distinction (like OS version for example) It may be related to the SE issue, or separate we don't know yet. These crashes are our solitary focus, will keep you updated.
