I stare at a black screen for maybe 3 seconds after the logo disappears. Then the actual loading screen appears (with the skill icons). Weird..
Wow... Totally consumed my gaming time since buying it. Just managed to go the distance with Warrior and beat all levels. Epic game - totally 5 stars Thank you!
Personally I prefer as it is now, with just high level hints. It adds to the tension and discovery. At first I was about to ask for a full rundown of characters powers progression and full lists....but I now prefer not. The variability made me discover new combos I wouldn't ever tried out. Instead...please make devices sync a priority. I need to continue playing your awesome game on iPad while my iPhone recharges because I played too much of your awesome game. Did I already told you how awesome your game is? GOTY.
I don't play card games and I think this game is great. I've made all my close friends buy it. I hope more developers realize there are people, even if just a small minority, that appreciate a high quality premium game with no IAP (timer/crystal BS) and are happy to pay for it. Looking forward to more content/gameplay modes.. and REALLY looking forward to Cloud Sync. I haven't had any issues with the game, but the developer being active in the forums, open to suggestions and prioritizing bug fixes for people who couldn't start the game and having the update come so quickly is appreciated. Great job Righteous!
Crash on match 5 Just started playing it and it's fun. I do have a problem now that I am at match 5...it shows the graphic of the card flipping up into some sort of evil mouse and then the game crashes. If I relaunch it has the same problem. Playing on an ipad air. Any ideas on how I can get into this fight?
I'm just starting (have made about 5 warrior runs, and am hooked!) but I agree with this sentiment. It is already becoming pretty obvious what strategies might apply to what scenarios. The only thing I don't understand thus far, and haven't been able to find an explanation for, is what a deck upgrade does. I've also monitored this entire thread but sorry if I'm forgetting a discussion. Edit: nevermind, I found this dev comment- "So an upgrade gives you 2 Aces/Queens/Kings with an extra effect. They have the same effect regardless of the cards color." Bit of mystery remains obviously but I get the idea.
Yes, we do. We are working on some crashes on old devices as a priority (iPad2, Mini1) and then quality of life stuff like landscape option, hard to read numbers, will be next up. Also want to look at the jaggy scaling on iPad Pro.

Aargh froze on level 13 Against the barbarian girl as the paladin...froze after she does war whistle.. Nooooooooooooooo Gutted....can i suggest that's it's a bad idea to release a roguelite with bugs that in essence kill you (as you can't resort to an earlier save)
This is fixed in the update that should arrive any day now. And this bug was very tough to isolate. I had it happen to me during testing but I was unable to recreate it after hours of testing. Sorry for the annoyance of a freeze during your battle though. I know it's frustrating. PS I say hours. And I mean hours. I tried everything to recreate it. And as far as other testers went, I was the only one that had the freeze occur.
Fantastic game probably even GOTMonth for me! Anyway I am on latest update and had a freeze while battling. Nothing would respond to my touch and I couldn't continue. I double tapped and swiped up to remove it from memory and then I restarted and it loaded me back to 1 move before. This is better than losing your whole game I suppose!
My girlfriend had a crash on her 5S but continue right after, crashed but saved progress. Also has jaggies on the sides of the cards
Dude, lighten up. I feel your pain, but this app is pretty damn clean and the dev has been entirely responsive, and right on top of the few bug reports there have been.
Monk Just finished the game with the Monk. I really like the wildcard power, leads to frequent streaks. I thought the boss just before the last emperor was the hardest, requiring a power to block/reflect big attacks. BTW: I noticed an achievement for unlocking the Warrior deck that I didn't have. How do you get this since the Warrior deck is available from the very start?
I just beat the last boss with the Warrior and still want to continue with the other decks I have unlocked. This game has excellent replay value ... So far, my GOTY.
Actually would love some more info on this one, when you say froze what do you mean? You got hung on the beginning of your turn with the card hovering? Or it literally froze up (no interactivity/animation)? When you exited and resumed did it come back where you were? We have the resume feature to do the best job we can at avoiding losing progress because you are totally right, roguelite + lost progress is a horrible combination.
