http://indiesale.com/ Going on sale for $0.99 soon for a good charity. "Six independent iPhone game creators have joined forces to raise money for Child's Play, a charity that helps sick kids play their favorite games while they're in the hospital. We've put our most popular games on sale for just $0.99 each, some for the first time ever, and a third of all our sales (after Apple takes their share) will be donated to Child's Play!"
wow. that's a great sale. spectacular games at their cheapest ever prices. all for a great cause. horay! still hoping for GC update
Still loving this game! Surprised it's not more popular Insanely addictive...Get it now for only a buck!
Definitely, Solipskier and Silverfish are my two most played arcade games. They both deserve more attention.
solipskier and canabalt are both game center-less. <_< Seriously? The "top runner games" don't have game center? Aww.
Is it worth the buck? I already got enough "endless running" games on my ipod What makes this one so special?
if you guys are on the fence, you can always check out the free version online: http://mikengreg.com/solipskier i wouodnt really say that solipskier is a "runner" sure its about speed and going right, but the gameplay is much more analog.
I played the browser version for a couple of minutes and I absolutely loved it So i bought it,together with the great canabalt. Thanks for the advice, guys
played the online version and this has really some cool achievements. So I really vote for a Gamecenter integration in next update with these Achievements please
Lol. I know, right. Which ones do you have so far? Maybe the obstacles. Instead of attacking enemies, you're mostly going through check points. And instead jumping over pits, you're drawing the landscape with your finger to build speed. It's quite unique.
Okay, if people are on the fence for this game because they aren't so sure what makes this unique from other endless running games... THIS ISN'T YOUR TYPICAL RUNNING GAME! Technically, it's not even a running game! It's an endless skiing game But anyways, while other runners simply have you tap to jump, tap to fire, pick up power-ups, etc., you get NONE of that in this game. It's completely different. You draw the landscape and your entire goal is to get as much points as possible by getting as far as you can, doing tricks, getting through the gates/tunnels, etc. It is completely different from anything else, and to me this is the best game offered by indiesale.com
This is one game that shouldn't be meshed in with the endless run genre. It's not one of them. This is its own genre, really.
I'd go as far as to say that Solipskier has the best use of touch screen control I've ever seen in an action game.
