Um, yeah it does, you just have to be off the screen. You must have done it wrong.

As to the "you can play it online for free" thing, I don't know about you guys but when I'm at home and gaming, I'm either playing something on my PC or on my PS3, and I don't mean flash games. My iPhone keeps m entertained when I'm out and sitting around for long periods of time, like when I'm taking the bus or at the laundromat. I spent an hour and a half straight playing this game while doing my laundry. THAT is why the game is worth buying.

This might just be me but is it even possible to jump higher than 1450? Whenever I make a jump the number at the top never goes higher than that no matter how fast I'm going. What am I doing wrong?

    Oh how I wish...

Someone would sit down with me and show me how to deal better with jumps.
Sometimes I jump too long, sometimes too short. When there are two required jumps in rapid succession, I nearly always crash on the second jump. I know I'm doing something stupid, just don't know what it is. What am I not getting???

Explore your house. Find a secret room created decades ago for gamers to escape reality. And their wives. One created by a retro gamer who wanted to play Magnavox Odyssey.

    U.K.
I am still sitting on the fence about canabalt. I tried solip's online version, like I did for canabalt, pondered for a while, and it is a fantastic game IMO.

The touch control works a LOT better than a trackpad or mouse, in the first place. So the experience is very different from the online version, and very natural. Other than that, the visuals, the music, the scoring are all first class. A simple idea well executed.

Can't comment on the 1450 yet, haven't made it that hi yet. Back to playing some more, this one is for you eev!:D

    Welcome to the club, buddy.

My time gets divided between helping my wife with the cooking/cleaning, gaming on my iPhone 4, and BF BC2 + Mafia 2 on the PC

You need to update ur thing next to ur name it says you still have an itouch.

Solipskier is a really great game but the iversion should have a local top ten as well as OF because OF only let's you know you top score. Also there should be OF achievements.
