Ever gone 280 kms? Jesus you don't even have time to start moving your finger before the gate comes! When that happens I just continuously jump as fast as I can as to try and be in the air so I still get the multiplier up, and won't miss any gates. But usually before I manage another jump a gate has passed :/ I do similar to that, but instead of jumps, I just drag my finger down then back up, making a small ditch which hopefully the gate will be on top of.
What the hell do updates have to do with anything? They're supposed to be FREE, you don't increase the price with each update, you choose it at the beginning and stick to it. Also, name all of the bugs. Thanks. P.S. You're too cheap to be an app junkie, consider yourself demoted.
That comment makes absolutely no sense at all. Think about it. One thing has nothing to do with the other. I think it's awesome to get a fun game like this for 2.99. I feel spoiled with all the fantastic games in the app store and most are from .99-2.99. Thanks to all the great developers out there
Wait one second. Normaly in a brand new game there is always something wrong with it ( a bug). But if there is none, then there is no reason I should have posted that. Sorry for getting you guys SSSSSOOOOO angry. Jeez.
I usually have no problem plopping down $2.99+ for an app that's of good quality. I'm just having an issue paying that much when I can play the Flash game for free. Guess I feel like I should get Monster Dash, which I can't play anywhere else, for $.99. This is one app I would argue would sell better at $.99 merely because of the Flash version (of course, if you took that Flash game away from me I'd have to fork over the $2.99 ) Great game. Just my guilty feelings of spending more money on something I can get for free that are getting in the way. Damn feelings...
Well, to play the devil's advocate, if it wasn't for the flash version, I never would have bought the app. It looked interesting from the screenshots/videos, but it wasn't until I got addicted to the flash version that I decided it was worth $2.99 for me to have the ability to play it on my phone, anytime/anywhere I want. And it's true that Monster Dash is a great value for $0.99. I picked that one on impulse because I like the other stuff halfbrick has done, and $0.99 is not really a risk for me. In that sense, Monster Dash didn't really need a flash version. Solipskier is currently the same price as Canabalt, and offers more varied gameplay in my opinion. Not that I think Canabalt was overpriced at all, I just think that Solipskier is priced at a fair level. In the case of both Canabalt and Solipskier, it was the flash version that really sold me on the app. I think the flash versions of these games is likely beneficial to sales and helps to justify the price, in that it makes it pretty easy to find out what kind of gameplay the app offers and make your own decision as to whether it's worth it or not to make the purchase. True that a $0.99 price point is better for impulse buys (without trying the game first), but having the ability to actually play the game for a while makes it easier to decide whether to spend a bit more money on it (at least in my case).
reviews: bluec3428- "this game crashed after the first time i used it! do not buy app! horrible!" Lazermagic- "Boring gameplay and dull graphics. Horrible music! All the good reviews must be friends of the developers. Don't waste your money on this crap! Delete!" little miss nobody- "... Also it freezes a lot!!! Like every time I in start over!!!! PLEASE FIX!!!!" ...and there are more of these kinds of reviews. But I am not saying I don't want it. I just want it to go down to 99 cents.
Well, I don't know if it would influence you or not, nor what device those reviewers were using, but I've never had a single problem with it.
