And related to kenken11's question above, do the artifacts only drop on certain quests? Or can they drop on any quest on a particular island? (i.e. do they have a specific location where you'll get a chance to get the drop?) EDIT: @ImLegend thanks for the link!
All artifacts drop to a specific quest on that island. Some go to the extreme and only drop in the day or night. You can tap on the "info" button on the mission list to see what drops in the missions. There a tab for materials and a tab for what equips you can get from the crystals.
Been rocking SnS, and i gotta say it's probably top-tier weapon type (with the right weapon skills) together with GS. It's really easy to sneak in a few hits which are impossible with most weapon types, and you just gain "mana" really fast with it, so with a "damage type" weapon skill like brandish, you can rack up the DPS numbers consistently. Im not sure how much Brandish would stack up to Burst[quick] (this is the 10s duration buff where you deal 3.5x damage). If you can stack up Burst over burst within a few seconds interval, this might even be stronger. Cant wait to get higher rank weapons farther into the game.
all the 3* weapons I used are level to 20 but I need those element saps to go further. However, these quests for saps are just not available for me, I'm currently in island 4 and stuck on quest 3, how far I need to go for those damn saps? thanks in advance
The saps drop from the daily rotating quest. Today is the lumber quest which can drop saps needed for the upgrade.
That's very helpful, I didn't know that. I just checked each an every boss, from the equipment quests, and still don't see that bow listed. I wonder if it was removed, or they simply forgot to add it in the list. Regardless thanks again, still very helpful.
You can get the Earth element bow from the Nibelsnarf event, which happened the other day i believe. Should be up again next week... I hope.
