The more i play, the more it felt like going ranged is stupidly OP. Not in terms of damage, but in terms of ease of play. The fact that there is no sheathe animation anymore, running away is just too easy. Not saying it's a bad thing, it's just pretty safe which helps farming more difficult hunts (material farming and event farming).
Range is easy sure but it's a pain to be constantly in critical distance. If your character is slightly out of it, you get a nerfed arrow rain.
If I create an account and download this game from Canada, when it comes out in UK will I be able to continue playing?
I guess it's that. Not many players with good equips yet... It's funny once you get 4 GS to stagger lock event mons.
How does one get good equips? I unlocked the third island and still rocking a 1 star armor and a 2 star sword, both lv 10 and from the very first island.
Thanks. Do the equipment quests give 3star drops? Or which levels/ quest should i try? I just cleared all available equipment quests and the highest drops are 2star weapons and armor.

The fun part now is that whn I hunt for ice sap, all other element sap dropped except for ice sap. Wahaha. And in the process also collected 400 life crystal lol Back to waiting for event again
For my case, I need Ash. :3 This game is stupid in this aspect. In the JP version. Easy materials are available 24/7. Some say it's due to soft launching. I call it greed. typical micro transaction BS
Oh Ash. But i think it's fine, in a way it make people come back everyday for different materials. And I love farming and grinding. U will feel awesomeness once the mat dropped for you. Maybe that's me.
That's some optimistic thinking. However, the implementation of the stuff isnt suppose to be like that. :/ They dont even have easy materials scheduled.

the game cant be completed. I so far only completed the first set of island. The 2nd set of island is impossible to get through without 4 star equipment or 3 star max armor. Current cycle of event quest will have barioth > Lagiacrus > Rathalos > (Royal Ludroth, Gobul, Uragaan???) Please equip elemental orbs to activate Brandish (Insert element here) so that you can stagger the monsters for other players to DPS. Preferably mid air or activate for I frames. And I already bought a lot of uniqlo shirts at 50% when they were having a promotion for downloading their app.
