any tips for very hard mode? form a team with 1100+ atk (earth) and 1000+ def (earth) but failed on 3/4 not even close to the final battle... saw people already getting 4* armor...wtf
4* armour?!?! Heck, I can't even find any 3* armour, despite having a whole shipping crate full of 3* weapons! Can someone please provide me with some guidance on obtaining 3* armour? Thanks!
I have rumors floating around that the person in that pic uses godmode cheats :V but in order to tank very hard, you need about 1.2k def.
damn my strongest def is 1112 using Rathalos set, not even close... :/ how to trigger godmode? - my godmode is buying tons of currencies and keep continues until it die LOL, unfortunately I'm short of real cash
The game doesn't always give me the materials I'm awarded in the bonus rewards screen for things like slaying. I had zero Malachite Ore. I mined 3, and got 3 more in the bonus rewards for slaying. My inventory only said I had 3, and there were no connection errors. Edit: Happened again with Ice Charcoal. What's going wrong here?
Gathered materials are shown in the bonus rewards screen. If you had gotten six total, you would have seen Malachite x3 TWICE. You only got three total. When you do any material mission, you will always see the material(s) you gather in stage 1 in the bonus rewards screen in the first treasure chest.
Yeah, using the word "slay" was a poor choice by the developers. In the possible rewards section, everything listed as "slay" are things you get from actions inside the game (like mining ore, fishing, etc.). These are always in addition to the initial four rewards for completing the quest. They should have named it "gather" or something, not "slay."

That's brilliant, thanks! I have only done a couple of Hard 3* events, but I could handle them no problem, so that's what I'll focus on from now on.
Anyone have tips for the Firedrake (Flame Rathalos)? His jump-fireball attack seems unavoidable if you're in melee range and does about half my health. This is using a water hammer at 1200 atk and 1100 def. Do I have to use a lance to guard or use a ranged weapon? I've gotten every artifact up to here so I can't progress any further that way.
Friggin Crimson Qurupeco... My first attempt soloing him and i had him down to 1 bar, but then he kept healing where i think i broke about 6 bars already. And i just ran out of time. Difficult to get greedy with attacks coz he can 1shot me.
