Personally I'd say the arrow controls are more precise. The focus of the gameplay is based around hitting the ball at the right angles, to knock it in the direction you want it to go. Also chipping the ball over other cars and blocking shots are all key, as is working as a team. Because of the top down camera, you get more time and information to make tactical decisions in the moment. There is a strong emphasise on using the right strategy, as well as been skillful. Top down really lends itself to that. It's something we focused on with the first Soccer Rally's and makes us unique to Rocket League. Rocket League is about flying in the air and judging the verticality of the ball, whereas our game is about giving players enough information and time to make spectacular plays on the field. To answer your question about gravity; We have not slowed it down at all. It might look slower because you are used to playing from behind the car in Rocket League. Things always look faster when you are low to the ground. It definitely gets frantic and intense! There's plenty of moments where you instinctively see openings and have to make a move at speed.
