Meh. I'm content with my current iPhone 4, which still feels as though it's brand new (although having been use for over a year).
im waiting iphone 5. iphone 4s dont really improve much from iphone 4. soon, will destroy by SGS3 or even SGPrime. lets the giant fight next year. iphone 5 vs SGS3. who will win? only time will tell.
I upgraded today. I went from a 16GB iPhone 4 to a 64GB iPhone 4S. I'm definitely enjoying the new features, and can't wait to see what games do with the extra power!
iPhone (Oct 07) -> iPhone 3GS (June 09) -> iPhone 4S (Oct 11) I probably would have held out for the iPhone 5 if my 3GS were in better shape. Not only am I down to around 3 hours of battery life but the back of the device itself is scratched and scuffed to hell, dust under the screen and a few tiny scratches on the screen. I'm kind of happy I felt compelled to upgrade now that they've announced GTA3. Shadowgun & The Dark Meadow barely run on my 3GS ether, it'll be nice to play some more hardware intensive games on the new 4S when it arrives.
I wasn't planning on an upgrade, but now the wife want's one after watching some chinese guys trying to use Siri If only I had a Delorean and could go back and line up yesterday morning :-S
I have to say that whoever thinks of this new iphone as just a little upgrade over the iphone 4 are way wrong. This is the best phone I've seen and used. Even though the body style hasn't changed, it's still the prettiest piece of hardware ever made cellular-wise. I am also extremely happy with brining out those titles that didn't run well at all smoothly run again(Mr. Roboto, Dungeon Defenders, Dark Meadow is soooo much more amazing) and the speed increase of regular applications really saves time and piece of mind. I have 4 gigs of photos that used to lag like hell while I looked through them, now it doesn't even phase anything. Not to mention how cool it is to be able to download and install 2 apps at once while playing Infinity Blade and receiving a couple texts without one sign of lag. This phone is a much needed upgrade we never got with the iPhone 4. LOVE IT!!!! OH YEAH, as for Siri, I love the idea and once the servers stop lagging, I'm sure I will finally be able to use it *secretly bummed out about Siri* Hopeful for update
@JeNei He means that it's a good idea. --- Anyways, I can't decide if I should get the 32gb or 64 gb. I have a 3rd gen 32gb right now, and I've managed to trim till about 27gb. Should I still go for the 64? I'd really like to save the $100 dollars if possible, but I'm kind of lost :/. I wouldn't have gotten the 4S, but since apple didn't upgrade the iPod Touch line, I'm super tempted to go iPhone.
If I upgraded today it would cost, at a minimum, $350 in early termination fees, $200 for the phone, plus activation and my last AT&T bill, since I'd be switching to Sprint for the unlimited data. At this point I can't justify it unless Sprint wants to buy me over.
Thing is, they just might. I don't know how it works in other countries, but when I switched providers a month before my contact was due to expire, the new company even paid the termination fee. Sure there were strings attached, but they were the lesser of two evils and I could live with them.
Should probably upgrade my ipod 2, just for sfiv volt and sf2 And all those other great games, not to mention all the other great features. But currently only 1/3 of the way to buying a 32 gb one. ):
Why does everyone keep referring to next year's model as an iPhone 5. Surely they will call it an iPhone 6?
Why would they call it that? 2G -> 3G -> 3GS -> 4 -> 4S -> 5 -> 5S This would be the obvious way to go... I don't see it why would they skip the 5... There were two 3's and 4's as well.
