So, what other fighting games do want to see on the Appstore?

Final Fight is already in the app store as part of Capcom Arcade. It's not universal but the 16-bit graphics scale decently.

Yeah, I like it... they should have Mighty Final Fight from the NES.

Mighty FF would be interesting and yet I sadly doubt we'll ever see any NES games on the app store. :( My top pick for an NES game within that subgenre would have to be River City Ransom and that's actually a possibility since it's been remade at least once.

Whaaa? Think Final Fight or Double Dragon but instead of separate stages you fight your way through a single city with RPG leveling elements and branching paths. You purchase foods or various items at shops with coins the enemies drop and markets act as checkpoints.

It makes me kind of sad that we'd sooner see Scott Pilgrim than River City Ransom on iOS.

I'm dying to play KOFXIII on my 360 come October but I might just get the iPhone version to tide me over!

That one was pretty good. It had some very interesting special moves for the time. A lot of them weren't about damage but more about messing up the other player's controls and other fun stuff. Oh, there were also stage Fatalities or Eternal Championalities or whatever they were called haha.

I wonder why that series fizzled out so quick. It was pretty big back when I was a kid.

Bio F.R.E.A.K.S. really? I'm sorry to say but I absolutely hated that game when I rented it for the N64. Maybe the PSX version was better but man... I felt ripped off when I played it for that weekend rental period :D

I'd take ether, Scott Pilgrim was a solid game even if it isn't a classic. Nothing on the platform rivals RCR but we've got Final Fight, Double Dragon, the entire Streets of Rage trilogy and X-Men already and that's impressive.

I would love to see some of the NeoGeo beat em ups on iOS. The Sengoku series was amazing. Eight Man, Shock Troopers: 2nd Squad. If any of those games made it onto there they'd be an instant buy for me.
