Coldplay is the best band ever! Currently listening to and enjoying: Plastic Beach-Gorillaz You and Your Heart-Jack Johnson This
Trashcan Sinatras This is my favorite band and one of the few bands that I like that is still together. The Smiths The Go Betweens I listen to these guys a lot of the time.
Bullet for My Valentine! New album (Fever) released a few days back. I guess it will appeal more to people in the mainstream. Catchy riffs, little screaming, lots of singing. But I wish BFMV would go back to their crazy solos, screaming, and badass-ity in general.
Well, since it's nodoctors that made this thread, I'm gonna thrown out some Austrian Death Machine. It's a metal band where every song is about an Arnold movie. It rules. As funny as they are they're also actually a really good metal band.
I listen to Metal, Classic Rock, and even a little Techno. Avenged Sevenfold is my favorite band, I also really like Protest the Hero, Disturbed, Dream Theater, Bon Jovi, Norther, Atreyu, Metallica, Guns N' Roses (as seen from my location), Korn, Alestorm, and Rise Against.
My favorite bands are Kansas and Blue Öyster Cult. Like Will, you can see my love for BÖC in my location.
I enjoy: SOAD (System of a Down) RATM (Rage Against the Machines) The Who Boston Flyleaf Seether Linkin Park P.O.D The Corrs
The Beatles is the BEST BAND ever. Muse Oasis Gorillaz (Plastic Beach is very good) and Mexican Stuff
That is such a random list. My favorite bands, as of now... The Scorpions (I will be pissed if I don't get tickets to their final tour this summer) Billy Talent Zebrahead (pre-Matt) Audioslave Gaslight Anthem Cage the Elephant Modest Mouse Minus the Bear Wolfmother Red Hot Chili Peppers I tend to stick to rock.
Rock: AC/DC Rolling Stones Led Zeppelin Pink Floyd Guns N Roses Jimi Hendrix Jethro Tull Scorpion Metallica Def Leppard and lots more..
Modest Mouse is probably my number 1 band, also like Broken Social Scene, Built to Spill, The Flaming Lips, Led Zep, Oasis, The Mamas and the Papas, Kaiser Chiefs, and Steely Dan, off the top of my head. So mainly rock / alternative stuff I guess. I don't mind a bit of techno once in a while either, but I find it a little repetitive after a while (I understand this completely depends on the variety of techno though)
