For some reason Brothers in Arms 2 feels better than Modern combat games, because it feels more open & more realistic. They need to start updating their games more. They need a gears of war, Uncharted & Mass effect clone. I was hoping Shadow guardian would be good but there was too much texture popping in every part of the game, its boring most of the time because its a platformer but feels like its a puzzle game. If they make a really good gears of war clone or a mass effect clone & it was like $15 i would buy them both as long as the characters don't have box heads & no fingers & lips.
What would you like to see from Gameloft? So, we're pretty much all aware that Gameloft take existing titles and make them playable on iDevices. I'm just wondering what you guys would like to see them "copy" next? This is not intended to be a bitching thread, so please keep it out of here. Just post what you think they should remake and why. Personally, I've been waiting for a good Pokemon or Monster Hunter clone on the app store. We have 1000's of tower defense, and doodle jump games, but not one good Pokemon clone, makes me sad. As for monster hunter, something about the leisurely gameplay and tramping through the woods with a weapon made from some big dragon's face will just never lose it's appeal. So, what would you guys like to see Gameloft remake for the app store?
How about this . 1) No more clones, give me some originality please. 2) Smaller file sizes. 3) 1 and 2 x 1000000000000 times. That's about all I want from Gameloft.
There is a reason why there isn't a pokemon clone in the app store. Nothing can beat the original pocket monsters.
Honestly if there was a good pokemon clone on the app store... holy shit. But, It would have to be a giant world with tons of monsters, just like Pokemon. But yea, I'd go crazy for that. @STYJ... Smaller file sizes would probably mean worse graphics or less content. I'll put up with big file sizes for those two things.
I am aware of that game, but the DSiWare and App Store are two different things entirely. Gameloft was stupid to even release that game in the DSiWare Store in the first place when it is under direct competition from the Pokemon series.

Why are there so many threads talking about Gameloft clone today? I would like to see innovation, not clone.
Sacred Odyssey is as close to a Zelda clone as it gets for now. I suggest giving that a shot. As for me, I'm waiting for a co-op based zombie shooter similar to Left 4 Dead. I know GL could easily pull something like that off on the new devices, even if they had to cut down slightly in the graphics department to get all the zombies on screen at once.
