Maybe a cool street-fightin genre game i said blades of fury was ok but i think a def jam styled game would be awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't view from a distance: My only thoughts on the matter. Well, then again, a Viewtiful Joe style graphics game would be nice.
I'm hoping for a more Battle Front type game. That's what I want. or for them to buy licence to N+ or Monster Jam.
HELL YEAH!!! i would love that. it would be better if they got characters from the appstore games, instead of putting random characters. (cross-promotion like minigore, sway, doodle jump...etc) that would be really kickass!!! what do you guys think? btw, controls would be managable, as in buttons for moving and attacking, is all. and no 3D stuff like blades of furry, i want side scrolling fighting action (plus add physics if possible) im hoping an indie developer is reading this
SURVIVAL HORROR!! - Something along the lines of Silent Hill. And possibly a Tomb Raider rip-off somewhere down the line....???
Everyone seems to clamor about Survival Horror. A silenthill will be easy to do since they can use the MC:S hospital level assets.
Super Smash Brothers would never work on the iPod Touch/iPhone. Think about how many buttons you'd need first: One for normal attack, one for special attacks, one for shields, one for grabbing (debatable), and one for jumping (debatable). Not to mention that trying to do directional attacks with touch controls would be an exercise in frustration. The controls kind of prohibit the sort of complexity needed for a Smash Bros. clone. More on topic, I don't want Gameloft to try a survival horror game. The company seems to have a rather bad problem with getting down a good plot and decent voice acting, either of which can ruin a survival horror game or make it ridiculously camp (like Resident Evil). But I would love to see a Gameloft clone of Left 4 Dead or some other team-based FPS game.
Yeah, I see what you mean... I think they could hande a Dead Rising style game though. Sure, the graphics would be pretty crappy, but knowing Gameloft they'd find a way to get all those zombies on screen. And Dead Rising, like pretty much every open world game, has a story that can be completely ignored. They proved that they could already handle an open-world game too, so I think they could pull off a decent Dead Rising clone. Otherwise Left 4 Dead would be cool since no one actually cares about the story in that game that much. And I just remembered one game I'd love to see Gameloft take a shot at: Zone of the Enders. Best mech-combat game out there, and if you completely ignore the story, I think Gameloft could do a good job of that as well. It wouldn't have all the crazy effects in the ZoE games, since it even slows the PS2 down a bit, but if they take advantage of the HAWX engine I think it could work. And one last one: Dynasty Warriors. One of my favorite games, and with the way the game works it fits perfectly with iPhone gaming. I just don't get why Koei doesn't give it a shot since they only have one iPhone game out.
no, smash bros. wouldn't work at all if they did bring anything similar it would certainly be way lacking compared to all the stuff in Melee and Brawl plus the game's all about multiplayer where there would be absolutely no room for any lag, which is highly unlikely and difficult
They're making BIA2 with 8 players for online mode. Smash Brothers always only had 4 players sometimes more and the graphics aren't extreme therefore it would be pretty easy to do. Basically they would make characters like Castle of Magic, but more variety and put that together.... BINGGG= Smash bros. clone.
