I understand it perfectly, get all the homework and quizzes right. Screw up the tests, sinking my average like a brick. I don't get it, I doubled up in Algebra 1 and Geometry last year (admittedly easy classes) and got an A in both. Pisses me off.
Yeah, I missed maybe four or five homework assignments throughout the semester and still found a way to get a D. I hate math in general because it feels like I understand it as I do the homework, then I get the chapter test back and FML.
Math is maybe the only subject I don't dislike but I got a B on my multivariable calc midterm today. apparently the bounds I set up for my iterated integral described a square when the problem was to find the volume between two surfaces
AP Euro was a waste of my time... Aside from that, I've never taken Algebra 2. I took Precalculus and did well, then came the horror, Calculus. I hated the class. Got an A and a C. It was brutal. It would take 15mins to an hour, maybe even two hours to finish a problem. Integral Calc was so bad though. Then came college and math requirements. Did horrible on the college test that I had to take Trigonometry. Although got an A, felt really stupid stepping down and retaking math. Now, I'm done with the load of crap that was given to me. Study hard and it will get you somewhere, hopefully if you fail at math, there's always another route. Calculus destroyed how I intepret math as "easy" it was hard and brutal.
Wow, I now feel better about getting into college. I feel like a freaking genius now, considering I do NO work at school and have: Calculus: B AP US History: A AP English: A Medical: B Pharmacology: A Creative Writing: A Anatomy: A You guys should at least do your part and get straight A's... I mean, you DO go to a video game website... EDIT: Like everyone else said, Calculus IS a bitch. If you're doing bad in Algebra 2, I suggest you pray before you reach your Senior year.

yeah, pre ap. im in 10th, ap starts in 11th. anyway graphic arts is a bulls*ht class with a bulls*ht teacher. Im not an artistic person, i cant draw lol
Mom's can be a pain. My mom gave me crap for bad grades, but I'd like to see her get better! I took Algebra 2 in my senior year of high school and got like 30% (that's an F). Didn't need the credit to graduate, and math sucks. And contrary to what people have told me, no, that F has in no way affected my life whatsoever.
well, my teacher is full of s*ht and doesnt want us to use the computer program (Adobe Illustrator) until the second simester (what the f*ck???? WHY NOT??) but at any rate she wants us to draw. A LOT.
