My cat woke me up 45 minutes before my alarm (figures), so I got on TA and saw this. Wow, looks great. Downloaded. Can't wait to try it out. Thanks for the videos guys. Edit: Played the first couple of levels. Seems like a solid game. It's definitely a nice surprise. I don't think the levels are randomly generated, at least the first two weren't. But that's just fine by me. Tap to move your guy (Sneaky) to a spot. Avoid detection or take on enemies in a turn based fashion. More points for stealthy kills. Collect all three rubies per level. Gain experience to upgrade your character. 29 Game Center achievements worth a total of 500 pts. You start with a dagger but get a bow on the second level with a starting quiver of 3 arrows. You can upgrade the capacity in the shop. It's pretty cool how you replenish your arrows during the game by harvesting them from trees. Overall I'm getting very good first impressions from this one.
Lets play on its way Hey guys I have just finished a lets play of this game where I share my thoughts about this great little game. Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
What makes you say so? While the graphics look pretty, the somewhat negative online reviews of the PC version make me skeptical.
I don't know guys, all I can say is that I had a chance to play more on my lunch break and I'm very happy with it. Really glad I got it. I'm not a big fan of strategy games, but thankfully this is fairly simple to grasp. I can easily recommend it.
Thanks to yours and some of the others' positive reviews along with the AppSpy gameplay I just watched, I am definitely buying it now.
It's a cool game. Graphics remind me of Triple Town. I'm on Lv. 5. There's not a great amount of levels (I'm assuming taking into consideration that my character is already Lv. 4 and you only need 2 to max out a stat, the exception being health that needs 5). So all in all, max Lv. will probably be 11. So, a relative quick progression (again, this is all assumption). Gameplay is cool. I like the turn based nature of battles. Although level progression is live outside of battles. I would love an option to change how arrows are shot. As it is you need to pull away from the direction you want to shoot. Sometimes this is tricky when Sneaky is near the border of the screen. I've fumbled it quite a few times already. I'll see how many more levels this has. But it's a good buy nonetheless.
No timers or IAP so far. I just unlocked the second area. Seems like there will be a reasonable amount of levels. I'm guessing 15-20.
