Hi folks, just wanted to attach some screenshots of the new game I just uploaded to the App Store.

The goal on each stage is to simultaneously light up all targets with the light stream by redirecting it with the control discs. Each stage has a different target configuration and limited set of discs to use (each with different properties).

It will be released at an intro price of $0.99.

    Stay tuned!

I'm assuming there will be a nice soundtrack to go along with the nice visuals.

    It does look rather interesting.
Really enjoyed Theseus but I think I may need to try the lite version just to comprehend what's actually going on! :)

Reminds me a lot of Play Auditorium, looks interesting.

Hopefully the sounds match up with the visual experience and this will be an instant hit.

If that's not made by the same company as Auditorium then the company that made Auditorium will be suing shortly, I suspect.

    For what?

    From copyright.gov:

The idea for a game is not protected by copyright. The same is true of the name or title given to the game and of the method or methods for playing it.

Copyright protects only the particular manner of an author’s expression in literary, artistic, or musical form. Copyright protection does not extend to any idea, system, method, device, or trademark material involved in the development, merchandising, or playing of a game. Once a game has been made public, nothing in the copyright law prevents others from developing another game based on similar principles.

Some material prepared in connection with a game may be subject to copyright if it contains a sufficient amount of literary or pictorial expression. For example, the text matter describing the rules of the game, or the pictorial matter appearing on the gameboard or container, may be registrable.

I wouldn't worry about copyright issues. If that were the case, the foundation of the iTunes store would be on shaky ground. Copyright infringement does not apply to concepts or ideas. People are often too quick to jump to conclusions that because of some similarities, that constitutes infringement. Not true by any measure...

Yeah, y'all are probably right. My mistake. It is contemptible though, that one company should rip off another so blatantly.

Ever watch the movies or any TV series? Nothing but rip offs with different faces. ^ ^

If it turns out Auditorium never finishes their AppStore version, then it's all for the better.

Does it suck? Yea, but that's how the world works. Nothing is original anymore.
