    Hey VoodooVyper,

Sorry - like I mentioned to charlieiscool and iFonePhanatic, we're all out of beta slots :( I would love to accept as many people as possible, but Apple only lets us build for 100 devices. Will love to get your opinion on the game once it comes out!

So glad you like the menus! I will pass along the compliments to Kiril.

And yes, we're getting lots of feedback about new ships coming in and crashing into an exiting ship. The game actually has some intelligence about how it spawns new ships, but it looks like we need to tweak it some more. Great feedback! Keep it coming!

If you can't make it on time, so be it. But otherwise, I think it´s really important to have it in the release version. Otherwise people will get annoyed by it. I can see it happening that people who get a lot of phonecalls will get annoyed by the game if it doesn´t save, and then when the update comes out with a save feature, you never know if they´ll come back to the game.

Glad everyone is liking the game!!!

Saving game state is definitely high on our priority list. Unfortunately, it's not such an easy thing to accomplish technically. I'm going to spend some time working on it this weekend though to see if I can make it happen.

I'll be responding to emails from people over the weekend. The feedback has been great so far! Definitely keep it coming!

    -Keith

p.s Natalia still has the high score on 2 of the levels! We all need to work hard to beat her scores! Just leave my #1 spot on Sturgeon Creek alone though... ;-)

It's good, favorite map has to be Cyclone Island, and just crashed at 130 while making a screenshot of a bug.
I've sent my feedback already, but sending this screenshot now.

I think avoiding ships entering the playfield is a part of the challenge of this game and would prefer that aspect not be eliminated. I think all that you need there is a little bit more warning time. Otherwise I can just route my ships out from the dock and forget about them.

I only just installed the beta on my iPod (stupid UK times I was asleep ) and played one game and loved it. The artwork looks great and the game is really fun. I'll email some more impressions and improvements later.

Look at him coming in here in the middle of the night and inciting mutiny! This will not be tolerated!

Side note - someone, please beat Keith's #1 score on Sturgeon Creek. I've been trying and failing all day yesterday, and someone else needs to knock him down a notch ;)

Wow, 130! Amazing! That basically puts you in 2nd place, tied with gigglybutt and JonLim. Nice work!

And thanks for finding that cyclone bug for us. We definitely need to fix that one. A number of people have reported it now, so we'll be working on that.

You know, I actually agree with you there. Having played a LOT now, I think it adds a challenge to the game. You just become really good at watching the perimeter, and when you see a new ship coming in, you make sure to redirect any other ones immediately.

Awesome, glad you like it! Can't wait to hear your impressions and ideas!

Sent out my email, hope Keith replies. I'm addicted to this. Loving the menu. I might send out another email after I play it some more. Now question, is it just me doing this or to "stall" the ships are the other drawing goofy circles? :D

Sweet, glad we got you hooked! Thanks so much for the feedback you sent. Keith just replied to you, so you should see that in a minute.

You're right - there's no other way to stall the ships other than drawing goofy circles. Stalling might be an interesting option to add in the future. I think it might be cool to just "hold" a ship with your finger to stall it. Maybe in an update?

Or maybe double-tap and it comes to a gradual stop, and then double-tapping again will start the ship gradually again. And for a graphical effect, smoke clouds come come out for a bit while the ships start and stop.

Edit: Even better, the ships only stall for 5 seconds, then they start again. You could either make it so ships can only be stalled once, or they can be stalled as many times as they want - that way it's still frantic like Flight control.

Ooh, that's a great idea too. We'll definitely need to try it out after the first release.

Thanks for adding us to your signature, btw. We're honored :D

I wouldn't mess with the gameplay too much (stalling and such). It's really superb as is.
