A short preview trailer for my next game titled Textropolis due out any day now!

    video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eq_fmyP5Qo8&fmt=18
    website: http://eeenmachine.com/textropolis

Textropolis is a persistent, free-play word discovery game. Travel around the word to different cities and discover as many words as you can from the letters of their names. Finding more words builds up each city, unlocks new ones, and adds to your total Textropolis population. Not shown in the video is a cool feature where you can email a postcard to a friend from within any city letting you show them your progress. You can also get hints for unfound words by shaking (at a price). One of the coolest features of all is that there are definitions for every word (I hate coming across new words without knowing what they mean)!

I love anything dealing with geography, and this is definitely appealing to me. UI looks very smooth as well. Will have to check it out.

    Thanks!

This looks pretty fun. These games never really appealed to me, but having the whole city building and exploration in the background makes me think I would probably enjoy it a good amount. My sisters would love this game too, they spend hours online playing boggle and stuff.

Looks great! Only problem is it sounds like another widescreen texting app :)

The mix of a cartoon alike interface with what looks like a system input method is strange. It does not seem polished IMO.

Everyone is entitled! I was going for a feel of being on the outside looking into this world of words, if that makes any sense... :p

Hmmm, are there any popular word games that cost more than $1.99?

Well, there's Scrabble, but aside from that it seems there aren't many word games exceeding $1.99.

This looks great, though. I'm a huge fan of Hanoi and Scoops, they're quality. All your games have slick interfaces and this seems to continue that trend. Keep up the good work!
