Snakie Review: Snakie is a good take on the classic Snake game. Snakie is a very compelling game whose appeal sneaks up on you. The concept is simple. You are a snake and you must eat fruit to get longer. You cannot collide with yourself or it's game over. The graphics are simple and good. There are six different "levels" -- a cup, cube, sphere, donut, gear, and knot. There are local highscore boards which state your four highest scores in each of those shapes. Controls: I found the controls to be more than sufficient. The touch controls weren't the best, but the tilt is one of the best on the platform. It's dizzy, but you will get used to it quickly. Game Length/Value: When you buy a game, of course you want to know how long it will last. Going through the six shapes will take at least 15 minutes and from then you will want to improve you scores and much as you can. The gameplay is addicting and fun, especially for $0.99. Pros: Smooth Graphics, Good Tilt Controls, Addicting Cons: Simple which is not necessarily a bad thing, but can be. You may not like it if you want lots of gameplay, but if you're a perfectionist it's more than fun-- it's addicting. The developer could improve it by adding achievements which would add to the gameplay, but if you just want a good simple game this is the game for you. Overall Rating: 4.25/5 Good, Recommended
