Not a game - but useful Smart office http://itunes.apple.com/app/smart-office-2/id504520620?mt=8 Normally $9.99 is free for just 2 days as part of a back to school promotion - works on iPad & iPhone -I bought it last year for my iPad - not as polished as pages & keynote but a decent universal app, definitely worth snapping up. Unlike most apps - you can view & edit - office docs, ppt, PDF etc. especially useful as we head towards a paperless office
Definitely worth grabbing for those who don't have the Apple productivity app trio, or don't want to drop $30 on them.
Thanks snapb202 ! No, it's the second time since release that it went free. The first time was on May 11 '12. And it's free only for this weekend. Very useful app.
I downloaded this last time it went free, but haven't installed it. Judging from the screenshots, is this more of a file viewer with minor text editing abilities than an office suite?
For free, I gave it a try. The UI looks ugly and is somewhat sluggish on the new iPad. So I deleted it.
Had it for quite a while..it is really unintuitive and hard to use. Typing anything in it is a real chore and I had this splitting headache 20 min into using the app.
I think the biggest fault is that it simply doesn't look like an iOS app. I can easily imagine that it would be a headache to use it for any work. I am hoping for a QuickOffice HD sale later this year. Or maybe Google Drive will get the ability to create documents.
