Here's my review:

This alarm clock app is fairly good! There are 5 different alarm clock types (2 of which are free and the other 4 are bought through iAP). The 5 types are alarm mode, sleep cycles alarm mode, sleep cycles set alarm mode, sleep quality control and full mode. This is a very customizable alarm clock app and I have used it for a day. I can definitely say it wakes you up!

You can customize the music, whether you want the music that comes with the app or your own music on your iPod. You can also buy music packs for your alarms through the alarm clock app. There is also a way to earn coins to sort of get music for free by doing tasks such as as sign up for certain websites or watch certain videos. The app also keeps a record of your alarms for each month.

There are different settings for your alarms such as Sensitivity and the 24-hour clock mode. You also do test runs of the alarms to "ensure the correct indentification of your sleep patterns".

My suggestions for this app would be being able to have a "Snooze" button and being able to set an alarm for a later date and not just for the day you are doing it. I would also like for there to be a radio option for the alarms and being able to pick which station you want to wake you up.

Overall, this alarm clock app is very solid and is definitely better than most of the alarm clock apps out there for the iOS.

it has simple clock alarm stuffs. it eases much of your unhappy mood due to the sudden waking up from deep sleep. the free version has limited access to the full usage of this app. for other funcstions, it is worth to buy and monitor your sleep during night.

this update makes the whole graphic design especially UI is not as stunning as before. look forward to the future update.

Wow. Each of your apps I try I fall in love with. The ease of use, graphics and overall feel of this app makes me wish Apple did something like this with the stock alarm app.

If you are not a morning person and hate having your alarm jar you out of a nice dream then this is the alarm for you. Give it a try.

Suggestion to the dev: An option to dismiss all calls while this is active. Maybe activate airplane mode in coordination with the alarm function. Somehow activate airplane mode while this is active which would automatically de-activate when the app is stopped.

Smart Alarm Clock FREE succeeds by visualizing sleep patterns on a multi-dimensional level. This all-in-one wake up and sleep cycle center boasts the addition of revolutionary features, such as patterned chart tracking of professional algorithm sleep phases. Tracking is accurate, but as a suggestion, I'd love to see more detailed variance patterns for separate noise level disturbances. Examples being one chart tracking subtle noises like minor snoring or the cat meowing vs. another line tracking abrasive noises like a door slam or noisy bang.

With an insighful wake up mode included, you'll see the bar has been set for what a sleep assistant should really do for you. Being able to record undisturbed while sleeping allows you to identify problems or disturbances. Everything has a very well developed and polished feel to it, especially the interface.

This smart alarm clock Free wide open its special treatment to me and let me test most of the functions, It is really helpful, with different kinds of wake up modes and those chill out tunes, I feel the quality my sleeping getting improved.

Besides I dont even know I was talking during my sleep, although I cannot figure out what I was saying, but it's fun.

Great Alarm Clock it is.

There are so many alarm apps about sleep cycles on app store, I find this one really works, besides that this is totally free for everyone.

This alarm wakes me up by different modes which could be really called 'smart'. after using this for a couple of days, I found my sleep get improved.

This is a very useful daily app a very useful tool. Can remind I often forget things.
Easy to use tools, worth having.
Hope can remove the iap, integrated together, so that better perfect.
Hope to increase for the poor quality of sleep, how to improve the ways and means to provide some of the adverse reactions according to the sleep records how to avoid and improve, so that let users sleep quality can be significantly improved!
Also can improve the curve, each looks beautiful enough to want to be able to be more pronounced, easy to read.

"Being able to optimize your resting time by utilizing useful tools to help obtain healthier sleep habits is what Smart Alarm Free is all about. A good example to use here is, if you talk or snore loudly, noises are recorded from your idevice using the application. When the morning time comes, you'll be able to review recorded findings and identify any sleeping disturbances or problems. You can even use Smart Alarm Free as an alternative alarm to wake you up with it's included sounds or use your own ipod music, however some more added features in this department such as enhanced snooze options or more varied sounds would be perfect!

The ability to set up various profiles would be a fantastic addtion to this already perfect app. That way if my alarm goes off, my girlfriends is still set and can go off a few minutes or hour later if different from mine!"

Wow, The icon is very cute.
It is well designed. Several modes are provided, so that you can choose one that is suitable for you. It provides some styles of music and sound, or you can choose any from your ipod.
As a alarm clock app. It can also manage your sleep cycle. You can refer to the stats and improve your sleep quality.It does help a lot for my sleeping.
It is more than a simple alarm clock. After using this app for a few days. I really like it. You should have a try.

As a current owner of the paid version of this app, I'd say that if you enjoy the free version, then you should definitely buy the full version as well.

Smart Alarm Clock FREE: sleep cycles & noise recording is a gem of an iPhone app and boasts the qualities the native iPhone app should have! Although, understandably, the content is not as complete as the full version, the free version still provides undeniable benefits that other apps just don't have. As well as being your everyday alarm clock, it's features also extend to be able to monitor all sounds and movements in your sleep (run the placement test if you don't believe me!).

As it may be difficult to understand the apps full potential for new users, it may be better to display the 'help' page the first time you use the app (or provide a 'view later' option).

Overall, Smart Alarm Clock FREE: sleep cycles & noise recording is an excellent app to try for free, and it is well worth the upgrade to the full version to experience the full array of wonderful features!

Need a gentle guaranteed wake up call with many customization options?
Smart Alarm *Free* has it all right here!

The sound bar charts it displays are a welcome feature, making it easy to identify the sounds.
Retina graphics are present topping off the level of polish for this app.

Love to see future updates containing more wake up options and sounds.
Adding in a chart or profile that keeps track of your sleep problems over time for monthly averages would be helpful.

Awesome Alarm Clock for Free
This app is quite awesome as a trial version of the Pro version, you can have a taste of the Pro version without paying a cent, sweet. Fairly excellent alarm clock as a freebie. Really saves a lot.
I like the purple icon more than the blue one of the Pro version, very fresh and fancy, also easy to use. Still you can wake up confortably at the sleep cycle. Helps a lot to a tight sleep. And diffrent modes and tunes to choose if you like(You need to buy via the IAP). Also it is available that sleep stats can be shared on Facebook or twitter. Works like a charm though free. Awesome.
Never miss this awesome alarm clock for free trial! Great deal which really saves a lot.
Definitely worth a try if you're looking for a alrm app. You'll never regret to try it before buying. So try now and buy it to have a tight sleep ASAP!

I have used the iPad version before. Now I have the app in my iPhone4.

The app has a very cool UI. You can use the app as an alarm clock or an app to help you get asleep. You can choose the built-in sound tracks or music from iPod Library. You can also buy sound track packs as In-App-Purchase.

The basic and the smartest function is the alarm. You can use it to record sleeping sounds as well.

In a word, the app is excellent and I highly recommend it to you all because it's only 99 cents!

Some Suggestions:
1. When switching tabs in the app, sometimes there's a sound effect, however, when you switch quickly, the sound will disappear.
2. When switching tabs in the app, you can always see the system volume icon shows up. It is annoying.
3. When changing the alarm mode, there are 3 modes are locked. The descriptions cover the time table in the background.
4. Add language switch in the app. Now the app detect system language and there's no way to edit the app language unless change the system language.
5. Add preview of all song packs.

Awesome iPhone Alarm Clock App!

Since this the Free version of the paid Smart Alarm Clock app. I shouldn't ask too much. But surprisingly, this app is so good that I have to write a review.

The interface is surprisingly polished. I think it's even more beautiful than the paid version. The biggest difference is that the free version only offer two alarm modes. One is the traditional alarm mode which will wake you up at time you set before. The other is the "smarter" mode, which will wake you up at the right time to avoid over/undersleeping. Although it doesn't provide the recording features that are available in the paid version, (however you can purchase these feature through IAPs,) the app does what it says: sleep cycles and phases.

I have tried many alarm clock app for iPhone, since my sleep quality was not quite good until I tired this one. I bought Sleep Cycle alarm clock before and I was not satisfied. The developers had obviously abandoned their app. It got only ONE update in 2011. And the UI was as hideous as the day it first showed up in the app store.

But Smart Alarm Clock is definitely one of a kind. I fell for it since day one! The interface was gorgeous and intuitive. After you purchase the alarm modes through IAP, the app will have five Alarm Modes, which is similar to what the Sleep Cycle alarm clock provide. (However, Sleep Cycle does not record your snoring or sleep-talking.) The app can monitors sleep cycles and disturbing factors while you sleep, and wake you up at the right time or at the exact time you set. I didn't understand why the designers made five seperate alarm modes at first. The alarm mode and sleep cycle set alarm mode (traditional mode but it will collect more data) and the full mode (but I'd like to call it "Smart Mode") are reasonable. I was confused by the other two modes. But now I see that users might don't want to record too many information (since their iPhones reach almost full capacity) or they might just sleep and see how it goes. Thus, I think the developers are very thoughtful when designing these four modes.

The data is statistically sound, and is demonstrated attractively in the format of graphs which are easy to read and understand. And since it records noise disturbances, which is a clever idea, you can easily tell whether you sleep-talked/snored last night or if someone else did in the morning.

The developers show their insightfulness in the detail. The app has two music modes: chillout mode/wake-up mode. You are allowed to add your own iPod tracks as chillout/wake-up music. You can easily set up the app by running a placement test. It even allows you to turn off/on tap sound or change to 24-hour clock mode.

Of course, there is still room to improve this app. My problem is when you start the alarm clock, you will see a big clock on the screen, and it will automatically set its background to black after about 10 seconds, so that it will not disturb your sleep. Bu if I wake up in the night and tap the screen, the background will change to normal. And I have to wait 10 seconds so that the screen will dim itself. I hope if I can just double tap the screen, the background will change to black at once. By the way, since there is also a iPad version of this app, I hope the data of two app can be synced. After all, sleep matters!

Great and superbly working the functionality. Recommended for those who is hard to wake up in the morning. This app also could customize the music or alarm for us to use. We could use the music in Music library or just use the 20 special tunes that being provided. Its also have great graphic and sound too!
Worth the buy ! Now I wont come late to the office anymore !

This is a great alarm for free. It gives you a great idea of what to expect in the full version. It has a great selection of chill out and wake-up music/sounds and even the free version gives you the ability to record nighttime sounds so you can see if there is something interrupting your sleep or if you want to see if you talk in your sleep.

If I could make a suggestion...
* Would it be possible to adjust the microphone sensitivity? I was trying this on the iPad and the microphone must be a little weak because there have been a few times when the app said that it didn't pickup any sounds. It was also difficult to get the test to pick up any sounds on the iPad.

Great alarm clock app!
This is the best alarm clock I've ever seen in the AppStore! Very cool interface, very simple to use! This alarm app is very functionality app. There are a lot of great functions such as perfect algorithm of monitoring sleep cycles, absolutely great visual statistics, recording noise. There is also nice relaxing sounds which one helps to you to fall asleep in insomnia. You can also use your own music from iPod library. Very useful app for monitoring your sleep! So if you are looking for alarm app this is what you need! Definetely recommend this app! Worth it!
Some suggestions:
- I'd like to see more different types of clock themes, like digital clock
- Add more than one alarm and can you make function for each alarm different wakeup tunes
