You have Carcassonne, right? It's the ultimate iOS board game adaptation. It's currently on sale for the first time since release in 2010. And, an expansion was released today. You can't beat that!
Yeah due to my recent interest on IOS boardgames, I have been monitoring Stone Age and Carcassonne. Was closed to pulling the trigger for Stone Age at 2.99 last weekend but decided I should focus on Agricola instead. Ok, latest update, thanks to CzarCastic, I just bought Carcassonne. $6.99 seems to be the sweet spot for good IOS boardgames for me. Gotta learn how to play and then think of the add-on. Or should I get the add-on first? I am highly attracted to Small World 2 because I have a preference for fantasy theme games.
Small World 2 is a great one! All the different attributes and races make for extreme replay value, and the quick play ing nature of the game makes for some immediately gratifying gameplay. But it's one of those games that, even though it plays quick and SEEMS simple, it has an underlying depth to it that offeres a slightly different challenge each time you play.
Love the graphics too. That is why I think I can only hold out to see if there is going to be any Christmas discount. Once the new year is here, I doubt I can hold out any longer and will bite it at 9.99 ha ha...
I bought this when it was just Small World, minus the 2 and was a bit cheaper. Also, this is one of the only games where I actually felt compelled to get all of the DLC. The new races and such add even more variety and playability to the game.
Officially I give in and bought version 2 and find it more complex than ABHotW. Video is a bad way to show one the ropes. I get the manual but need time to read it through. Any fast track for noob?

I played through the tutorial and watched the table top gaming video and I was good to go. The concept of the game is pretty simple once you get the concept of going into decline.
Thanks! I thinks when to go into decline is the key. ABHotW is simplier in this regard cause after epoch, everybody goes into "decline" automatically.
Anyone else find that purchases for the expansions don't go through? On Ipad Air and can't seem to buy any of the IAP.
