If it is they are soft launching in the US, which is rare. Every release night for the past month there has been an issue with the app store saying items are "no longer available" or something of that sort. Is that what you are referring to? I see this game in the store and it is giving me that message. I expect it will be cleared up in a few hours tops. I downloaded this and while I think I could like it, the collision detection seems a bit off. I feel like I am hitting things that I should be clear of. As difficult as Dashy Panda is I never feel frustrated, when I die it is always because of a clear miscalculation on my part. In this game I feel like half of my deaths are due to bad collision detection. Basically what it amounts to is that it feels like the obstacles extend past their border. For example, when I am coming down the hill towards a tree it feels like I hit that tree before I actually should given where it is positioned on the screen. I think it is particularly bad when going downhill towards something, but I have also noticed that sometimes when making lateral moves out of the gates and such I also just go down out of nowhere when I appeared to be fully clear of the gate. Watch the very first collision in the video above with the tree at like 15 seconds in. The skier hits the tree before they actually reach it. Edit: I just watched the appspy gameplay video on YouTube and the person playing the game also commented on collision detection issues. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
