As I wrote at iTunes Store, I really like causal and fast puzzle games.

Slide It! perfectly fits in this category.

No, it's not "yet another matching three or more tiles" type of game. :)

In this puzzle you have to slide rows and columns and try to move a tile to its right slot. The goal is to move a "n" number of tiles in a given time.

There are bonuses tiles which give a nice touch to the game. More of those special tiles are planned.

I've already requested some small improvements at their forum such as an alternative method to "slide" (tap the slot) and a resume game. They are already working in the next version to improve the game, including the promised features they have already pointed in the iTunes Store game description.

The graphics are fine (better than the screenshots) and they are colorblind aware. The game has sound, music and high score.

Priced $3.99 it may be expensive for some users but it's very reasonable for those that like a casual (and original) puzzle like me. ;)

    It's easy to play.

The screenshot shows level 18 with lots of tiles so maybe that's why it's hard to understand.

Anyway you have to try to e.g. move a Heart tile (tiles are in the center and they are in a bigger number) into the Heart slot (slots are in the borders, in the end of each column and row).

If you do it then you get point and more time to finish the level. If you move a tile in the wrong slot you'll lose points (including multipliers that you can see at bottom) and time. So there's a bit of strategy here in order to move the best columns or rows and get as much matches as possible.

Believe me tell how to play is harder than play the game itself. :)

I hope I was a bit more clear now.

The update will also make the game compatible with the first generation iPod Touch. I'm excited!

Looks interesting. If it drops to $2, I will get it.

    Slide It!2 Coming Q1 2011

    Hey Carlos,

If you recall, you had provided us some great feedback in developing the first Slide It! - We appreciated it, and wanted to let you know that we have Slide It!2 in the works! After a quick system update to the first, Slide It!2 will come out early 2011 and will take the puzzle concept of the original to a whole new level. We're pretty excited about it and would love to have input from Puzzle gamers (like the community here) as we're in the development process.

In the next few weeks we will likely have an opportunity to help us Beta test Slide It!2. If you're interested, just let me know!

    Thanks,
