Saw this game, tried it out on pc and It drew me in to play more. Buying it now. Any updates and news? I'm not up for looking through the 15 pages of this topic.
Will look into it, thanks! SO, I reckon you need to seriously invest in a dragon scale if you want to have some sort of permanence in this game. I have yet to use one, does it just ask you to continue if you have the req'd red spheres once you die? OR, and this is a BIG OR, can you select a hero to resurrect from graveyard? The latter would be my preference
I found a bug that if you click on the Fame Points segment of the Tavern while offline Slayin crashes; it's minor but for what it's worth. I agree; and although this was a sparse week Slayin is a lot of fun. Next week will be legendary with Kingturn and Mighty Dungeons both coming out. I need to give Astronot a try; it's been out since June 2012 and in part I was curious to see if it'd get a price drop at some point but no budging.
Just when I think I'm sick of pixelated games I get sucked back into one. Reading the forum made me give this a go. Very hooky game and enjoyable gameplay, cool stuff
Just curious , how far has anyone gotten ? I've made it to the devil dude that pops out of the plant so far . I'm know I'm going to have to buy the dragon scale for sure . Wonder how many bosses there are ? Anyways great game , does remind me of spell sword .

Absolutely! NetHack is, by far, my favorite RPG of all time. A great game from long ago when developers cared less about graphics (the version I play still runs off of IBM graphics, your hero is an @ fighting lots of Y's and :'s and d's) and more about depth if the gameplay. (Literally; the deepest level of the game is the bottem of Hell) If you think death in Slayin' is bad, consider pouring hours into your Lawful Male Human Knight, only to get killed by a rolling boulder trap in the Gnomish mines. Wow. It really bites.
The plant guy is after the giant blob , it's the 4th boss . The worm must be after it . Lol I mean giant yellow slime

Badland? It's really good atmospheric game, but im not sure im ready to call it best game of the year. I have it, i've played it, but i go back to Slayin for reasons synonymous to addictive, fun and good time.
I think There is a bug/glitch I lost 1000 coins. I don't remember spending them on anything I think Ilost the 1000 coins I got from rating the game. Here's how it happened. I plugged my ipod into iHome so I could play while the ipod charged. Somehow the menu music and the battle music started playing at the same time. I exited out of the app and reopened it and both the menu and battle music were still playing at the same time. So I deleted the app and reinstalled it. Well, that fixed the music problem but I lost the 1000 coins I got for rating the game. Just a heads up.
