I think the Ninja might be my favorite character. I wish the game didn't limit you buying only the three available skills. I'm able to carry my base shuriken skill to the Harpy's level with 850 coins and 4 scales but I end up just short if being able to unlock the next skill. I love the Flame Fox but it lacks a bit of aerial control and I was hoping the next two skills would be able to solve that problem. I guess I will just have to learn to be better with the Flame Fox. I can make it to the Dragon's level with that skill but the lack of aerial control kills me there.
I had been playing around with the visual settings. At least on 5s, adding the lines (aka old school arcade cabinets or home computer monitors...gotta love the late 80s and 90s) just really makes this game shine for me. It brings back fond memories of quite a few different franchises. I haven't been addicted to a game like this since Jetpack Joyride. That's saying a lot considering all the great games that have been coming out. I somehow missed this one when it released but am very glad to have found it. Definitely play with the lines if u want to live the old glory days
I can't even make it to the slime as the archer, but past the death worm as knight and Mage, do I just suck or is the archer not good?
I can't wrap my head around the archer at all. He's really not fun to play for me. It's challenging yes, but not satisfying.
This. The 3 new classes are a not higher when it comes to high-risk, high-rewards, and the Archer seems to be the highest-risk-highest-rewards of them. Im sure if one keeps at it, the class will click and high score galore.
Just beat the Dragon for the first time with Ninja! Final score of 130k and #26 in the world Any prize for mastering the Ninja? Those Lightning Kunai rock the house something fierce.
Yeah, except for completing missions that require their use. The only spell I use is dancing flame because it is always there
I also do not have this achievement, I was hoping it was fixed for 2.0 but that's not the case. My friend, who bought the game on Sunday, does have it. So my guess is that it was fixed for 2.0, but it only checks for it once (aka your first time playing knight). If you have it broken from 1.0, it's not checking for it again or there is no achievement sync in the game (which all iOS games should have, but I digress). I sent a tweet to FDG about it, they said they would forward it on to the Slayin' team, so here's hoping.
Just scanning through a bit of this thread I noticed several people requesting different movement controls, such as one big direction switch button. My advice to anyone having trouble with steering. Don't tap the arrows, keep your thumb down and move it left/right. The arrows actually work as a sort of virtual joystick.
Aaaaand i just unlocked my Ninja in a new savefile on my 4S. Somehow i really find the ninja quite fun so i went ahead and unlocked her early.
