I'm so glad I picked this up, at a buck I don't even know what was holding me back. I think from the screenshots I was skeptical, but we all know fantastic graphics don't always equate to a great game and vice versa. PICK THIS GAME UP! You won't regret it
The game has about 450 quests. i can assure you, completing all of them will keep you occupied for a good amount of time : )
the games fame point system is somehwat exponential. So 3 runs to level 20 will get you alot less fame points than one run to 60. So the better you are the faster you gather fame points.
Hi Korbinian, Just bringing this up in case you weren't aware, reported in one of the previous pages. The character selection screen only shows the knight, regardless of who we select. Myself and another player at least have experienced this. Cheers
Just picked this up for the first time. Loving it! There's an armor glitch though. If your low on health and you buy armor nothing happens & it doesn't get applied. I can't believe I haven't played this before, it's an epic game.
I am glad you guys are having fun with the new chars To make things a litte bit more interesting we decided to hold a little competition: The archer highscore contest At the time of this post i am #2 on the archer leaderboards(zoolz8l). The first one to post a screenshot of proof in this thread, that shows he has beaten my score (should show "me" for the score he claims is his) wins a copy of Oceanhorn! 2nd prize is a copy of Across Age 2 and 3rd prize is a copy of Roar Rampage. 2nd & 3rd will be randomly chosen from everyone who beats my score until the competition ends on monday the 27th of January. LOL... same. My highest score on record with the Knight is at 106k, so i dont think there's a point in trying out for that.
the archer and knave are very good at keeping combos going and thus getting high scores. So i think you could beat me
@Korbinian: Think you could add a costume color changing option? Would be awesome to play the Knight as either in Black or in Red. Or the Ninja in black Also felt weird that 2 out of the 3 new characters wear green when they could at least be a different color each.
I must be missing something with the archer. I've played a dozen runs now and can barely survive past the skull-spitting tombstones (dude can't seem to dash through the skulls?) I don't like that you can't actually use the archer's main mechanic (y'know, shooting arrows) until your first weapon upgrade. All the basic characters are functional right out of the gate.
I believe you can dash through the skulls, it wont destroy them but it shouldn't hurt you. Also, i get what you mean about not having arrows, however i compare it to the magician who doesn't have a spell to start. And the basic arrow is only 40 gold, which you start with (as opposed to other characters). So really the game is just giving a choice between buying the basic arrow right away, or using the gold towards a better arrow (personally i go basic -> piercing -> explosive -> piercing and thats as far as i've got)
