No, I had to do something, closed out the app when I booted it back up I started over. Not a big deal though. This is a great game so far
I had this yesterday usually I only play when I have time to finish a game and ended up having to exit the game this time. I thought it's ok I'll probably be able to carry on but sadly not...it is dissappointing it doesn't have such a basic feature but generally you really don't need it so it doesn't bother me much I'll just make sure I only play when I have enough time to do a whole game.
This update rules! I noticed that when I'm selecting my character no matter who I have selected it still displays the knight image in the background. Doesn't alter gameplay at all but I figured id let te devs know. Still an amazing game! Thanks for the update! Playing on iPhone4
can someone roughly say how man quests are in the game, im interested in getting this but wanna know if im going to have many quest to complete
I don't know how many quest are there but there are different quest for each character. And this game is about fun not the quest!
Was about to report the same. Iphone 4, iOS 7.something. I only have the Knight and Mage unlocked. Regardless of which of the 2 I pick, it'll always show the Knight. When I select a locked character, though, it'll show up properly as "Locked", with the right character background. Just a small niggle, nothing more
It does let you continue when you die, and it is permanent (can be used over and over). The drawback being when you chose to use it on a given run you are no longer eligible for leaderboards, and you dont collect any of the fame points that you would have collected from that run. I believe it is meant to be an easier way for people to get further in the game who otherwise wouldn't
Unlocked the ninja instead since most opted for the archer or the tamer. She's pretty difficult to use, but as expected, her mechanics are pretty fun! While moving, she is very susceptible to damage. Pressing the button will let her unsheathe her dagger in front of her and dashes towards that direction. You can cancel the attack by changing directions. While dashing, you can press the action button to teleport vertically, and throw out projectiles. The directions of the projectiles will depend on her equipment, which is the first part of her kit. The second part of her equips are effects that occur when she lands. So far, i've only seen some fire explosions when landing. The third part, occurs during a tele-jump. When she jumps, she leaves a bomb on the ground. Im liking her the more i play her, but her kit is pretty tricky to master. But as i said, she brings new mechanics to the table, and is pretty fun to use.
I have questions unrelated to the new update, I couldn't find the answer anywhere: How many quests are there? Do they end? Does a list exist somewhere?
Unless one makes a list, i dont think anyone give you a definitive answer (except maybe Korbinian who works on the game). What i can tell you though, is that they will end, based on the GC achievements. Another thing i can tell you, is that i have unlocked 5 of the 6 characters, unlocked all game modes, unlocked all but the 3 new GUI skins, and unlocked the new BGM, but i havent completed any of the character specific missions. And yes, i have been playing this game on and off since it was released.
I think you may have misunderstood him. The scales are only gathered in-game while you play, and you can choose to trade them to be able to continue playing (like a runner game's resurrect), while losing fame points you previously earned before you died as payment. I think this also prevents your score from being uploaded into GC leaderboards, which makes it a very balanced leaderboards having only runs without resurrects included. Its sole purpose is to get you farther in the game if you only needed a few more to reach a certain mission, or if you want to see what the next bosses are. Unlocking dragon scales in the shop permanently allows the use of the dragon scales. Each continue/resurrection requires a higher number of scales than the previous. Ultimately, Dragon Scales let you get farther and help you increase the chances of completing missions, but it wont help you at all get a high score on the leaderboards.
Great explanation Exact Sorry i had not actually unlocked it so i went off what i read earlier in the thread.
Yeah... there's supposed to be a hidden formula there to calculate the total fame gathered from what i can figure out.
