Ultimately the reason that Red's Kingdom didn't click for me is also mentioned in the review- the Zelda-style exploration is great...until you have to backtrack through maps, re-solving their puzzles, just to traverse to where you need to go. It very quickly lost its charm, at least for me.It's a unique feature that is much better on paper than in practice.
It was a problem at first, but after a while it became a challenge to be able to remember every path. I even like to explore more and more to find more nuts. Here, it's funny but a bit less than in red's kingdom. But i'm only at the beginning, i hope it will be harder later.
These kind of puzzles usually don't get much love from me, but this brilliant chosen theme...damn, brilliant chosen! I can't judge how inovative this game is comparing to others in this genre, but i dare to say that without this (sorry, but again: brilliant) theme, this gem would never have gotten such a perfect review...maybe? About perfection, my dear Devs, you almost made it. Still enough for me to GOTY your gem, easily. I can't believe of how much i enjoy all those little details you put in. This game deserves to have a screen with NO buttons at all, so i'd wish for an opacity option, please! And since i'm a left hand slider, i'd like to switch those ugly big buttons to the right side. (or did i miss it in these incredible "slider" options?) And just saying, i loved the underrated Red's Kingdom (with it's little flaws, but a rocksolid 4-star game, imho), but i simply adore to slay campers in all its gory glory - Brilliant! Edit: forgot to mention that the difficulty curve is just perfect for an almost newbie to this genre. I unlocked the 5th movie, and i had to grab a little hint twice, so far.
Go to options, scroll down. You'll see it says enter killer kode. You might have to turn up the sliders bar first for it to show.
Awesome! Thanks so much! I didn't realize that there was a slider for MORE sliders! LOL! I never would've found it! Do you know what all the other settings do? I turned up the ones that made sense, but all the ones under subtitles have strange names and I can't even guess what they actually do.

This is one of the best games I've played in quite some time. Used to love these sliding puzzles and the presentation is flawless. I'm not a fan of voxel graphics but they work well. Congrats!! GOTY candidate here.
Yeah I think that's why they added a bit more oomph to that particular killing! Brilliant how they made you REALLY want to off that guy.
Recently bought this game and wow! The best thing i have played in a long time on IOS. Amazingly fun, addictive and the 80's vibe is awesome.
