Of course we would complain about no iCloud support. Do you want us to be silent about it? How is that going to change anything? I love this game and I AM enjoying it on PC. Obviously I want it to be better that what it is on mobile right now
Did anyone try to run the game on older device with 1GB of RAM like iPad 4, iPad mini 2 or iPad Air? According to game’s description on the App Store it’s compatible with pretty much anything running iOS 9 and above, but is it really? I’m no longer in possession of such devices but I need to know. I tried to reach out to large communities and ask on Reddit or Discord but without any luck. So, anyone? I’d appreciate it.
Praise this comment. Nobody is saying the game is bad, I’ve spent countless hours on PC and fully recommend it on PC. But I can’t recommend the mobile version due to the issues mentioned here
I’m not saying anyone should be silent. It’s just that literally the first few pages of this thread were nothing but iCloud complaints. Anyway, it’s been confirmed by the developers that iCloud is a priority and will soon be coming.
I completely understand it really did feel like that and it put me off wanting to talk about the game because it’s all anyone was saying and yes It’s good they confirmed it’s coming so good to know they intent to work on the game not just release it and forget it as I’ve seen some devs do.
Trust me — I get it. I like it when I can switch between my iPhone and my Apple TV. I would also love to be able to go between my original Switch (which I keep connected to my TV) and my Switch Lite, but Nintendo makes that a huge pain the ass. Doesn’t stop me from buying the games, though. Everyone has their deal breakers, I guess. Just seems like a thin one to me, especially for a rogue-like game like this, where it makes sense to do multiple runs at the same time.
I mean, I personally appreciate it’s 1:1 port in comparison to PC version, but let’s be honest. They could’ve take touch controls into consideration and do some adjustments to fit on mobile better. On PC I just hover mouse cursor above the card and it automatically shows its description. On mobile it doesn’t feel that smooth having to tap on a card to see it before playing it. They could’ve handled it better. But is it a dealbreaker? No! I’m not worried about iCloud either as it’s going to be implemented in the (near) future anyway. We’ve been waiting so long for this game, let’s be grateful for it, shall we?
I’m actually fine with tapping on a card to view it I just feel like it could be implemented better, like tap to view it and it brings to to the centre of my screen and tap to return it would feel more intuitive than it currently is at least. I don’t often need to view them as I remember most of them anyway but sometimes it does help to see the damage when I have buffs/debfuffs and I’m working out if I can take an enemy out that turn or not etc
I agree as I was one that raised concerns over iCloud and the UI as a newbie since if it will not be easy to play for a newbie we could be turned off but the game due to not knowing the cards compared to people who have played in multiple devices and know all the cards etc... Seems to me the initial reactions on these issues are valid and should be raised even if it was dragged out a bit to long. Now that the developers have said iCloud is being added that is awesome but they didn’t say it when the game was released so that is why people raised it as an issue!
Cards are cut off at the bottom on ALL devices. You need to pull them up to read them on PC, Xbox, etc. So should not be a complaint for this version either.
I see, thanks. I didn’t know that. I’ve been debating between iOS or switch. But I don’t play with the switch much as always have my iPhone with me. I thought it was hard to read the cards and easy to hit the wrong card in the game on iOS or something...
Yeh I’ll lend a couple. 1) Just enjoy the game 2) You don’t have to pick every card you are offered. Anytime you’re offered cards, think: Do any of these really benefit my deck. The more you get familiar with the game, this will become a bit more of a look ahead kind of question. 3) Generally take on elites in Act 1 so long as you feel you can survive without too much HP lost. Elites drop relics which make your game. More or less skip most elites in Act 2 until you’re very familiar with the game. They’re usually too strong relative to your deck by then. You can take on elites in Act 3 again if you feel you need more/better relics. 4) Buying cards at the shop is good, but saving up, and buying important relics can be better. 5) Generally, you want to try and maximise: Elite fights according to as above, also merchant/shop if you feel you will have enough coins by that stage, chests, and then question marks. Mostly minion fights should be least priority unless at the very beginning of the run where you want to build coins and cards. That’s a very broad outline of priorities but they will change a bit. 6) Relates to above. Plan your runs. Look at the Act ladder and determine which path. As an overlooked tip, you can tap on the icons in the Legend on the right, it will highlight each class of stop on the ladder to help visualise.
Insane run with the watcher. When you get the right relics, everything clicks and the run is piece of cake
Hi,anyone here experienced crash every now and then? It really annoying when the crash happen in the middle of boss fight,so i need to start from the beginning fight again.. I am using ipad 5th gen
It’s been reported here and on reddit before. Often at a boss fight. Personally not experienced that crash yet. Only had crashing for the daily challenge which seems to have resolved and the leaderboards which is also resolved. Never had a crash while on a run. Xs Max. 13.1.
Ughh I tried the watcher again and got demolished. Earlier than any other run I've done. It made me depressed so I decided to take a break with the game. Wrong card draw completely screws you over. Going to rage mode seems like a bad idea all the time since the next turn I might not be able to kill anything, maybe no attack cards, maybe no block cards, then I have to eat all the damage. The other classes are more straight forward but I can't figure her out. I feel more like I'm gambling than playing her :\
You enter the rage mode if you have a way to exit the stance or certain that you can finish off an enemy that is attacking you. it took me a few runs to get used to her play style, but I found her to be the most fun to play due to the play style around stances and retains.
As Jstorm already said, but I’ll add a little bit. You firstly should try to make sure you have a way out of wrath by the end of your turn. So try to build your deck with cards that help you exit your stance or enter calm, or divinity, so you can hopefully hold these in hand ready to change out at the end of turn. But not only that, as you play the game you’ll learn the attack patterns of your enemies and the likelihood that they’ll actually attack the turn after (or not) (and being the turn that you cannot see their intentions), in the event that you can’t help but stay in wrath stance, but can at least build up enough block for the current turn of the current enemy intention is to attack. And then also consider the cards that are left to draw in your deck and the likelihood you’ll draw a stance changing card next round. (Hope that all makes sense. But it will at least real soon I bet). Anyway, a little breaks always good, but you’ll be itching to come back for more real soon I bet!
