The loot table is a little off at the moment. I see some awkward stuff sometimes, like all lvl 40 items sold on the first floor, and then lvl 1-3 items sold on the 8th floor. The coming patch should help with these issues.
Also a known issue, and fixed in upcoming patch The end game loot is nothing in compare to things that can drop in the Infinite dungeon. I'm really sorry i broke it, just wait for the patch.
Holy crap. Maybe I missed it in the bug discussions but I didn't realize that the infinite dungeon level 9 crash was going to erase all my progress all the way back to level 4! Had found a (non-farting! have been wearing that damn pot) helmet I really liked!
Are you talking about "The Can" ? Like this one? Sorry for your loss. I'll also make automatic save games more often.
I can't read that but I don't think so. I'm referring to the Hag's Cauldron if you mean the farting equip. Funny, yesterday we were at the beach and I had my phone playing music on a speaker via Bluetooth. I decided to play a game and didn't realize it would likewise broadcast over the speaker... that is, until I heard a big fart. Haha! Oh, and I guess waypoint portals are randomly generated in the infinite dungeon..? Before my crash, I got one on 7 or 8 (yet still went back to 4 after the crash). On my next run I didn't get one, so I had to go all the way back to 4 since I obviously can't go to 9 yet. One more potential bug...? I find that if I click on a potion or something in inventory the game also thinks I want to walk to that point in the room. Maybe it's not supposed to be a double click to use something in inventory...?
Itens Hello Manbat! Thank you for being so active here =) is so rare to have an active dev around! I have 2 questions to make =) 1) I was wondering about the item system. I've been trying to understand a bit how the itens progression happens. As far as I notice, the type of the item (using bows as example) does not interfeer on how strong it can be, but mostly on some characteristics, for the bow example: short bows are fast/vry fast with less att, long bows are slow/very slow with more att. My doubt is, why long bows gambling cost more than short bows ganbling? Do the long bow gambling have better chance of a higher lvl item than the short bow gambling? ps.:Im using bows just as example, I supose it applies for everything. 2) The second question is more like a request, is there a chance of providing a quick list of itens types? like short Bow trianglular Bow Huntung bow etc etc And in the case there ARE an item progression, in the progression order? Sometimes I get confuse what item have the potential to be better in the gambling store ! Thank you very much for your time again =) LastOne lvl40+ proud Duramen Dwarf !
There are 4 types of weapons for each type( lists are from fastest/weakest to slowest/strongest) Bows: -short bow -triangular Bow -hunt Bow -long Bow Staves: -staff -hook -knobbed staff -staff (with skull, made of bone) 1h melee: -short sword -lond sword -club -mace 2h melee: -axe -double axe -halbred -maul It's true that they differ in speed and damage, but general Damage Per Secound output is higher for the slower weapons, and thats why they are more expensive. but still, I'll go one more time trouht the prices, and reconsider the differences.
Itens Alright thanks ! And is there a similar list for armors pieces? Also I noticed a small (possible) bug, in the gambling, there is never a shield option there, is that intended? Cheers!
While buying item in free market house after bought game disconnected... Are You guys know mmorpg game METIN2 ? I think u guys need to think about it .. Random map and random strongets stone have too much hp and while hitting it spawn many monster this is so interesting and fun think about it pls
Yes I'm getting the post-free market crashes as well. Once when I bought something and once when I just closed the menu or was sorting/searching...can't remember.
Alright, thats weird, I browse it like a gazilion times and got multiple crashes, but only when purchasing. Probably different device or something, well, guess is up to dev to figure it out =p
Slow weapons wouldn't be so bad if they didn't affect the casting animation. Trying to use traps for example with a Slyboots using a high dmg, slow hitting weapon like the Fail-not bow, is suicide. It makes you stand in place while you get shot down by archers. Weapon and atk speed should only affect the delay between normal atk shots, not the speed and the sharpness of the animation. I see little interest in using slow weapons because it slows down the game as a whole. And this is also seen when casting most buffs, like Evade or Berserk, where your character completely stops to cast the skill. This again slows down the game and leads to unavoidable damage being taken. Skills should work just like Boost does: it doesn't take a casting animation and it allows you to keep taking advantage of your high speed.
So another apparent bug... In the Northerdum Catacombs, upon trying to enter Hell's Chambers level 2 (or something like that) it got stuck on "generating map". Had to restart only to find myself back in the village having lost all progress. Guess it might be time to put this one down for awhile until everything is patched, since spinning my wheels is no fun.
Neat game! Only level 22 or so so not terribly far along, but I agree with the slow weap thing. This game seems to be a lot about damage avoidance, and that's hard to do when you're sitting still using an ability for a full second. Also not crazy about how much of the core game is locked behind paywalls. Inventory space, character slots, 3rd skill, ad removal... Usually you pick one of these things to get your buck or two from the cheapos, not ALL of them. Ad removal should be automatic when purchasing anything. I'd probably drop a few bucks if I didn't feel so nickel and dimed... It's practically a Korean MMO up in here :/
