You may also try potions of Armor/Resistance. And also, I'll check how strong those beast are.

Ooook so thanks for the patch Manbat :)

But why make it so you have to cough a crystal to unlock a waypoint? What's the point?

The reasoning behind premium currency is that it gives you that "push", that extra help. But right now, if you don't have crystals, you can go as deep as you want, you are not restarting at your chosen waypoint. The crystal doesn't "help" you here, it's simply required to continue. Nobody wants to fight through 10 floors of underleveled enemies just to get back to the last point.

I had 2 crystals, and used one to unlock lvl 20. I died at lvl 31, hoping I could unlock 32. Now yeah sure ill just retry again and make it on the next run. But then what? I have to do this with all my characters? Crystals don't give you an advantage anymore, they are required.

Wait, what? I was able to use the level 12 portal without using a crystal (though for some reason it didn't save the first time, so a death sent me all the way back to 8, but it worked the second time I died past 12).

Also I feel like I have 2 more crystals than before the patch...?

Nope, they are not. You totally don't have to unlock the waypoints. You just can, to save the time. Thats exactly the advantage they give in this situation. It's your choice, if you want to start over, or spend the crystal.

Crystals are required deeper, first few waypoints are free, since the difficulty doesn't exceed the story mode. It was like this from the begging. But only few has reached that parts of game due to known bug.

You have more crystals. The number you can get for one buck was doubled (and amount of gold you can get for them is smaller now), so I also doubled remaining crystals for those who had some left. Consider this returning customer reward :)

You have so many things that one shot in this game that it becomes insanely annoying to have to restart all the time. It wouldn't be so bad if you'd at least restart on the same floor as long as you have lives.

Multishot a pack of mobs: without even firing a SECOND shot, golems activate Reflect and I die. How is that? I fired a single shot, at a full life golem, and it somehow activate reflect and kills me.

I've been patiently waiting for this patch, but it's just extremely tedious to try to survive. Not only are you forced to use your crystals to save your progress, but that progress is not even saved across all your characters.

Congrats on unlocking waypoint 32, now do the same with the others. Then do the same for floor 36, or if you want wait for 40 to save a crystal. But don't get one shotted by Dragons or Reflect Golems, because you're going back down at least 4 floors. Then it's just you walking back up trying to remember your way in a maze of walls. See what I mean? Unfun and tedious at best.

And by the way, the way crystals are needed now, I don't even think that buying 50$ of them will be sufficient. Let's say you want to revive on the spot every time you die, then unlock the waypoints every 4 floors, and then do it on your two other characters. Then, gamble with what's left. See what I mean?

Starting what floor do you have to pay a crystal to unlock waypoints? Floor 12?

Not everything you write about is done by purpose. I didn't totally predicted the multishot effect with golems reflection. Also, list all the monsters that do one-shot you. They will be investigated.

Gee, if only someone could have predicted that the one-shot mechanics and gear issues would get more pronounced in end game.

I might have listened to that guy and backed off the game a bit to see if the dev is interested in making a good game or making a buck.

Edit: he shouldn't have to make a list of monsters that one-shot him. Eventually, they ALL will. He's getting one- shot by the stuff he can't AVOID. You might know this if you play tested your own game without super inflated stats.

Dragons and Golems. The problem is that you barely take any damage during an entire run and BAM you get a huge spike of damage that either kills you or takes away 700hp. I survive with my Duramen, by of course die with my Slyboot. Damage taken needs to be more "spread" (??) and constant, less in spikes. That's why I said earlier that it's boring to go through all the floors all over again because it's unchallenging and you can quickly spree rooms with AoE damage, until you simply get one shot. It comes from nowhere and is awkward.

And currently when you die, you restart to the last "discovered" waypoint (I'm not talking about waypoints that you have unlocked with crystals). This causes problems as well, because I will most of the time rush through the floors, hoping to find the exit as quick as possible. If you have 10 floors to go, I don't take the time to reveal all the maps. So you can sometimes easily rush through 9 floors, oftentimes pass by waypoints without noticing them, only to get one shotted by some mob. You then have to restart 4 floors back, at a minimum. Now that's just plain silly. At least let us continu from the same floor, it's already a pain to find your way back up :)
Finding the waypoints is just too slow, it slows down the game for no reason. It's boring to quickly find the exit (yay!), only to have to go back and "save progress" by finding the waypoint. It kills the pace of the game.

Look, it's great, I still love the gameplay and I was able to reach floor 32 and secure the waypoint with a crystal. But I'm locked from playing the other characters unless I buy a pack of gems. There's no way I'm running from floor 12 all the time when I want to see how far I can push a Wiseacre or a Slyboot.
Like I said, I'm all for gems to give you a boost in gear. But I'm just going to sit two of my characters for the time being and focus on the warrior. I will need more crystals with him anyway if I'm to try floor 40 +.

And maybe you can add to the game option of paying for the waypoint in gold?
And it would be great for winning fight get the gold.

Ah lol, didn't know all I needed to say was "put an option to buy it with gold" to be considered constructive ;)

maybe instead of raising the amount of lives, lowering the recover time could be an option... The ratio of 5 mins of gameplay every hour and half would be less unpleasing :p

I have to agree. With two of my characters sitting out because I don't have any more gems (sorry, can't buy anything currently), I focus a single one. With 3 lives, this usually lasts anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes. Sometimes less. That's on floor 32+

    I play very little.

Your Ideas were also valuable, but I like the one with gold the best so far. It is not yet decided of course. But when it will be, I'll probably release some small patch, to cover this and a little game balance.

We need to make this game rune smooth, before I can focus on adding new features.

    Foxies

There will be more hairstyles for foxes?
And whether it will be possible later in the game to change the look?

I found this topic on Twitter (you gave a link to TouchArcade).
I really like this game. I hope that one day will come also on Android (I have Ipad and Android phone (my parents bought. I prefer apple!)
