I'm seeking folk interested in collaborating to make a wrestling game capturing the spirit of one of my favorite classic arcade games, Mat Mania/Exciting Hour (1985), which features a set of iconic wrestlers based on popular hero/heel archetypes from the 1980s. Towards this end, I've harvested a complete set of reference animations for the original characters and moves, as placeholder art. Here are two samples: I'm specifically looking for: - artist/animator to produce original sprites, differentiated from source material - musician - folk familiar with the original Mat Mania game, to discuss gameplay - folk interested/able to test (including people with MFI and iCade controllers) If there's sufficient interest (reply here with questions) I'll create a TA group for follow-up
