I think the way it works is hidden in the card border there's a barcode of sorts that the game is recognizing which is just an encoded ID number for that card. Some card ID's are tagged as freebies, which can be redeemed an unlimited number of times. Others, like the ones you buy in packs, can only be redeemed once.
What Eli said is what I meant. Don't know if it's ok to put on here but Amazon is currently the best place to get cards. Went to Walmart and paid almost twice as much as amazons ultimate bundle because I'm stubborn. I'll post my impressions of what I got later super busy at work.
So what's the point of duplicate cards? I know you can "level them up" by either spending 100 coins or acquiring another virtual copy / scanning another physical copy of the card. Do they get better stats or lower casting costs?
Same question here. I have some cards now as high as third level but am not seeing any improved stats. Also curious. When not making my own deck and just choosing a set of 3 characters, are these automatic decks made from my collection or just some basic default decks made for each of the game's 24 characters using basic cards I might not even own?
Just looked into this and the news is VERY depressing. Leveling cards is purely cosmetic cheese. Level a card enough and it will get a cooler border. I think, if I read it correctly, once you've leveled a card to 20, as high as this cheesy leveling goes, additional duplicates will net you bonus coins (no clue on the amount but am willing to bet it will be minor).
Does anyone have a direct contact email or anything relating directly to this game? Am stuck after completing each level (have tried a few) and it doesn't go past the win screen (to the point where your cards gain XP) and is just stuck
