Awwww you can't compare SkyCoaster 3D with a PC app (but yeah NoLimits is awesome). The iPhone's hardware has a lot of catching up to do:

The iPhone GPU maxes out at 1.7 million triangles per second, and the whole app cannot use more than *24MB* of memory.

The GPU on your PC can easily do 250 million triangles per second or more, and you have maybe 512MB or 1GB of GPU RAM, in addition to the 1GB or 2GB of RAM for the CPU.

    :)

If they made sense, i would totally agree on what ever you just said.

But he does have a point, PC graphics are always going to be better and higher then an iphone graphic

sky coaster is just at the best of its ability really :)

You can always force an update by downloading the app again (Apple won't charge you the second time). :)

Thanks It worked i'm really liking the new update. But we do need more customization options rather than just having corkscrew loop to loop alceratio, etc we need more.

I have it. It's pretty good, but on my touch it seems to lag a little bit. I wouldn't recommend it.

I love the new "slide to view from the side" feature!

And it doesn't lag on my 1st gen touch, even with high quality graphics on. Have you tried restarting to free up memory?

I'm not experiencing any lagging issues either. However, it did quit on me in the middle of traveling down a track. That aside, this program is definitely getting better with each iteration. I really like the fact that you can change backgrounds without leaving the track, and it got me to thinking that it would be cool to have a slideshow option for the backgrounds, maybe even with the ability to set the amount of time between backgrounds. Also, once you slide the track around, is there any way to get it back to the initial viewpoint?

Wow! On the "I don't want to sound mean" side, the screams actually sound a bit cheesy (though I do greatly appreciate the fact that people were willing to contribute to that). On the other hand, the track sound effects and the wooden texture style are awesome! I am really impressed with all the effort you guys are putting into this program. Any ETA on v1.2 (at least when you'll be submitting it)?

    I like the new themes

could you possibly have an option to turn the scream off and on :)

Love the wooden track by the way

Wooden Rollercoasters have a great feel about them

now that there are wooden rollercoasters

you may want to add a canyon theme or a mine theme :)

    What would be cool

    I'm still hoping for:

Water Ripple / Waterfalls / Clouds moving / Trees leafs flying with wind
    Better quality of backgrounds
Fly (almost) into tree's, next to, through the leafs
    Fireworks on track

    :)

Imho, this might not work. Whenever you're moving very fast (like, say, on a roller coaster!) the movement of other objects are not very noticeable!

Unfortunately, I don't think this would "feel" very realistic

I second this. I like the new sound effects, but the screams are very distracting. I would definitely like to have an option to disable them.

Everything else is great. I love the new wooden tracks and I'm looking forward to the next update. Keep up the great work, ziconic. :D

Duly noted. In 1.3 I'll probably have a no sound effects -> wind only -> wind+screams toggle for those of you who prefer to supply your own screams. :)

Working on allowing you to save tracks in 1.3... in preparation for a future release (2.0?) that might include a track editor.... :p

Version 1.2 is now on the app store! Don't forget to update your app and let us know what you think of the new features! :)

Coming up in Version 1.3 -- the ability to save tracks....
