You know it was weird for me too, I remember seeing this at $1.99 yesterday, and deciding not to buy it cause Electronic arts were selling all their games at a buck, so I bought 6 of their games instead. But now that it's a buck gonna have to take another look at this one... Gonna go check out youtube. But got a question for anyone, I just Air mail on sale for a buck, this game looks somewhat similar even though it is more a shooter, but since I have air mail, will I be disappointed in this game?
I think there's a lite version of this game so try it out first. I like this game..not arcadey..but not too realistic. Granted, I finished the campaign, and did only a few of the dogfights. It looks like there's a lot of dogfights, and Namco updated and added more missions. Think its cause of one of the old Red Baron I played on DOS way back then, but I like these WWI plane games more than the modern plane games. It feels more "intimate" to me, and feels like you can almost reach out of the cockpit and touch the opponents. Don't get me wrong though, I still like the modern day fighters as well. Can't compare to Air Mail though cause I don't have it.
Even in my sleep, I know when an app drops in price. I see binary code streaming in my eyelids. I've long lost myself in the app Matrix
I think you've been playing Angry Birds too much! J/K Either that or you must be using those google googles with appshopper on the lens.
Thanks, just downloaded the lite version. But geez, after playing Air Mail, have to say, there is probably no way I could download this game. I know Air Mail is new and all, but this game doesn't compare at all to it. Maybe that's why they dropped price twice. Having Air Mail drop to a buck must have shaken them up a bit.
Air Mail imho is in a completely different league than this game. It's like comparing apples with bananas. Rise of Glory gives a great feeling of a ww1 fighter pilot, you fight for every second to stay in the air. You feel great after every downed fighter, while Airmail makes you feel like more like a mail man Each game has something unique to it's own style, so it boils down to the following: are you in it for the feeling or for the visuals. Both have the visuals.
