Thanks for the adds! FYI to those who haven't received it yet, I only just now randomly got the Enforcer ship for playing 2014. I downloaded and played maybe 2 levels a couple days ago. If relevant at all, I had just logged OUT of Facebook connection in the game.
ok i play level one and a green flying box appeared when i shoot it it goes left right back and forth. Anyone knows what it is? Edit. Wow did not see that coming. Brilliant. Spoiler shoot the box to the end of the stage. The last human you have to save is on a platform with a box drawn on it. Take the box with the magnet of your plane and place it on the platform. Voila you get a gift
As I mentioned above, I believe you are gifting when you click on stars that appear next to friends' names. The game does a horrible job of explaining certain concepts.
Game needs some improvements like how do I share with a friend besides gamecenter and why can't I buy the iap and use on another device on same account
It's not always there. In fact it's somewhat rare. I don't think I've seen it at all yet today. But thanks, everyone else, for the gifts! Will send again as soon as it lets me.
To be honest, I think it takes less time to pretty much complete the game and get nearly all the cards and bonus items, if you compare it to the first game. So, I can't understand the frustration. Only if they changed it for the final version, but the beta version was really ok in that case. Can't remember my play time of the beta, but i unlocked all but 2 planes and I'm missing 8 out of 24 permanent cards. It would be nice though, if they make it possible to trade or unlock parts with friends/for stars. After you finished upgrading your ship you basically only need your stars for adding laser, shield, etc. at the beginning of a stage. Also if you don't know which bonus is granted by a card, just tap it once and it will swing around and show the bonus text instead of the artwork.
For me it was after the first time I played stage 1 on hard. After being brutally killed, I got a pop up saying thanks for playing 2014 and the new ship was in the hanger (the hanger wasn't even visible in the UI before this).
Wow... Really? All i remember is rescuing your icon on one of the stages, but that's it. I do remember replaying stages where i have rescued you, so maybe each run on that stage sends a gift to whoever has been rescued on that area?
Oh is that a rescue? I thought it was just a marker as to how far they had gotten.. Haha. I just had stars next to most of your names after I finished a run. The higher a person on the high score list the higher the number by their star. I clicked them all thinking that was how much it would cost me too now gift that person, but I could swear it then actually GAVE me that many stars. So I'm fully confused on the gifting thing.
