Yeah, mine locks on "Updating" too, and I'm still on iOS 9. The old Game Centre functionality is gone for everybody, I think. I've had no luck adding anyone that way. As other posts have stated, it is possible to add people directly via email or Facebook. Feathk, if you want to risk sending me your email via PM, I'm happy to add you.
Didn't realize Game Center is 100% dead. No more adding/editing, even if you have an older iOS version. They want the devs to come up with their own user management system. So dumb...
Google play I added several people on google play, but I never see any friends in the tournament, although I can see them on my normal high score list. Is there a way to fix this issue? If I have to reinstall the app, will I lose all the stars I've collected or any other progress?
It's good to see that it the 'Weekend Hero' is working for some. I should have mentioned that I have the same issue as user skyforce2014 on Android. Friends show up in normal high score list but none in the tournament... Sky Force Reloaded (by Infinite Dreams) I have, it doesn't do much though Rather than 'striking nearby enemies with a lightning bolt' it merely tickles them with a static shock... at VERY close range!
Same here on new ios :/ hope devs fix it I can see just my name on tournament list and im sure my friends plaeyd tournament cause can see that bubbles with their names in tournament where they died
Thanks for the information about the bug, I guess we'll just have to wait and see if it gets fixed. I only want it to work for the prestige points, haha.
Burton Panic and Slomo Chan are the ones I switch between. I don't notice much of a boost/difference the other technicians.
Lucy Clover's basically a guaranteed Shield if you were gonna get hit. Gringo Star if you wanna go for that WR lol

I guess those holograms block bullets and probably shoot - not sure if they also collect stars and survivors like the wingmen.
Don't know if the holograms do anything, as I'm only up to Slo Mo, but I suspect it'll be like the wingman - they draw fire. I'm only butting in because I just had the easiest run ever on level 5 - I got a wingman very early on, and he took out the EMP. Meant I was left to just rinse the towers and pick up stars at my leisure. Bumped up my best score on level 5 without breaking sweat!
This just happened to me a few Days ago - really funny! Also for the holograms. I think they'll act like the wingmen. Otherwise they wouldn't be worth at all.
As a note for people switching phones, I just switched phones today. I installed sky force (priorities) and signed in with google play and restored purchases. All was looking good except I was missing the gladius and all my prestige points were gone, and stars (but I expected the stars to be gone). I went back to my old phone, all this missing stuff was still there. I deleted the app on the new phone, reinstalled, disconnected google play, reconnected, and nothing seemed to fix it. I noticed my score, when looking at the high score total was correct, but if i compared with a friend, it showed a lower score, as if it was from a few weeks ago. I went and played level 12, because that looked like the biggest difference in score, and I died right away, purposely. This fixed everything, so if this happens to you, go play a few of the levels and see if it fixes it.
There is no doubt that I'll stay with apple as long as I leave. Too many hundreds of games on iPhone. waiting for 7+ right now...
