Love this game, plus the updates are pretty cool with the technician additions! I'm still struggling with levels 11 & 12 insane difficulty and haven't given up yet.

Long story short, looking for GC friends to add so I can play in the tournaments.

I'm on ios10 and haven't been able to add any friends.

Not sure what my imessage account name is either. Any steps for this noob to add through lousy iMassage?

 

So there are definite issues ties to the new way GC is "used" . I logged out of my GC account and went back in-game, and now any runs I finish where I collect cards or ship parts and finish, the game doesn't crash. So there's that....

There are a few bugs to report.
1. An invisible plane after second plane died
2. Received some gifts but Collected Gifts show Zero
3. Sometime health generator not working.

I also have some issues with the wingman since the update. it happened 2 times on stage 9 after the mines. I got a wingman from the box, and when I rescue the dude next to the box I die for no reason. And sometimes the game just crashes when I have a wingman.

 

For anyone else who may need it, here's a brief on how to invite GC friends on iOS 10.

I thought that would work too, but it doesn't work at all.
Tried to invite you, and iMessage gives an error message every time.
I've tried several other GC names from this thread, and error message every time.

 

This is almost unplayable now. As soon as I get a wingman, within a few seconds the game crashes.

 

I've had that once or twice. I'm still on iOS 9.3.5. You on iOS 10 yet? be interested to know whether there's a difference - but probably not.

The game is still great, but it might be starting to ask a bit much of 1GB RAM devices or less. Maybe make sure all your background apps are shut down. Sorry if I'm just stating the obvious...

 

Yup. Stay away from wingmen boxes...game crashes almost immediately. Just happened to me twice.

 

Just upgraded to iOS 10 and sad to report all my friends are now gone and when I tap on the leaderboard icon, it goes to a page with a "oops, there's something wrong" message. No way to try to add anybody

 

Same here (now my leaderboards are showing existing friends from before and I can update, but I get an error message every time trying to send)....

 

getting persistent crashing whenever I have a wing person who gets destroyed - seems to crash just before the killing blow is struck

 

I tried that also and got an error message,
After some experiment with an older iDevice and different GC I got it to work when I put the actual phone number of the person or the email that connected to imessage and icloud account apple did a really good job with their new ios..

Another update. Yay! Hope it fixes all the problems from the previous one.

Alas, there's no fixing iOS 10 and the way it's ruined Game Center. Can't blame for ID for that, though!

 

Congrats. This gives me hope! I'm in the top 400 now and working on stage 10 perfect clear.

For everyone who tried to add me to GC. The invites didn't get through. It might have been because of different settings on my iphone and on my ipad. Please try again.

Am i the only one who felt like i died a couple times without any enemy shots around? Happened to me twice, both in stage 11's final boss, when it is on his huge beam cannon mode. Im certain there werent any other enemy shots around me on both cases.

 

Yeah, sadly, even with the new update to SkyForce, and the latest amendment to ios 10, it's still not possible to invite GC friends that aren't in my address book, or "nearby".

Apple screwed GC up royaly here, and removed features like the ones we use for a worldwide gaming community in games like SkyForce.
