I read through the first 10 pages of this thread, and didn't see anything about this. I played for awhile, upgraded my cannons a few times, and health a couple times. Now I've unlocked the store. I saved enough stars to buy the first level of wing cannons. When I tapped on it, a timer showed up, and a new star amount as well, smaller than the first. I tapped it again, paid the extra stars and the timer went away. The same thing happened the next time I upgraded my cannons. So. What is with that? Are my upgrades from this point on temporary? (Edit) ah, wait. Now I remember. It was a week or so from when I first played to when I resumed today. That timer was there before; you can pay extra to skip it. Derp. Forget this question.
Again, great game! And since we unfortunately (or fortunately, depends on how you look at it lol) got the same tournament map, I decided to document what it's like going through all the waves/loops. So if you're interested in what it takes to get a +800,000 score for the tournament, you're in luck! Game Conditions: * iPhone 6 with iOS 9 * Limp Berserker (I found that if I chose Enforcer or any other ship, I do not get enough weapon upgrades in the level). * All guns/missles/turrents/magnets maxed out. * Also on a personal level, I did not upgrade my health at all! Like how a shmup should be Game progress: * Wave 1 (00,023 pts lol): http://imgur.com/KuVEunU - I usually buy a couple Shields and 1 Laser. Eventually you'll grind enough to fill up both to the max. * Wave 2 (53,000 pts): http://imgur.com/ZsychHX - Nothing special. I will point out that on average, you'll get around 43,000-45,000 points per wave, if you kill everything and pick up all hostages (not including the combo bonus). I bumped up the continuous combo to Excellent (I think its Good then Great then Excellent?) * Wave 3 (118,000 pts): http://imgur.com/SGgJdIT - Up to Superb. I forgot the score bonus, but it gets significant when you hit Fantastic and Dominating. Also, anyone know what the kill count scaling is per level? * Wave 4 (227,000 pts): http://imgur.com/xMRnyB6 - Funky lawl! Also I got maxed out shields a couple levels back. * Wave 5 (359,000 pts): http://imgur.com/Lu8mKLu - Just hit Fantastic. When you hit this continuous kill count combo milestone, you get +80,000 pts. * Wave 6 (405,000 pts): http://imgur.com/8hZf0UB - Still on Fantastic. Compare the bar though, I'm only 40% through to the next combo level. * Wave 7 (451,000 pts): http://imgur.com/mp6fE3Y - Fantastic, but up to 65% of the bar? * Wave 8 (493,000 pts): http://imgur.com/xNpoZSl - Fantasticcc, however close to 90%! Also my incremental pt gain was 'only' 42,000 pts since at this point I skipped a couple hostages lol. Note that there is no penalty for skipping hostages or missing stars. * Wave 8.5 (674,000 pts): http://imgur.com/YeiREEw - Dominating!! +160,000 pts!! Now after looking back at this, I realize that I should probably miss an enemy on purpose to start the combo back again. The bar barely moves now, I bet you'd probably have to kill 1000 enemies to hit the next combo level lol * Wave 9 (707,000 pts): http://imgur.com/6fVZgwi - Kept my Dominating combo, but look at how the bar didn't move. * Wave 10 (735,000 pts): http://imgur.com/EWCKYc1 - Lost combo. Started skipping enemies, lol. Bullets move fast, and missiles are a plenty! * Wave 11 (??? pts): I forgot to take a screenshot here * Wave 12 (809,000 pts): http://imgur.com/jyPBm4a - Down to 1 shield/laser/bomb here. Things are super hectic and I'm basically in bullet h#$%^&, just wanting to survive!! * Wave 13 (??? pts): Again, forgot lol, but wanted to chart it down anyway. Maybe if I get this far again I can take a screenshot for Wave 11 and 13. * Wave 13.8 (849,000 pts): http://imgur.com/UFXcEZV - Took a random screenshot here. Things are very painful, I'm skipping lots of enemies, and I only have 1 shield left... * Wave 14 (855,000 pts): http://imgur.com/y47Lxed - Pretty close to the end. No powerups left :\ * Wave 14.5 (866,000 pts): http://imgur.com/4MaP5Xf - GAME OVER! So that's it! I think I got around 870,000 the last tournament. Might try for +900,000 but things get pretty painful at Wave 14+, since you're in slo-mo quite a bit (if not the entire time). I think last tournament WR was upper 900,000 (not the cheating WRs lol). Also real quick, can someone tell me the WR for Stage 8? My game's bugging out showing 4.1 million, when I know its +4.4 million
Have cleared all 9 levels with 4 stars (dots) on each level. All cards and available ships for now. Would love some friends so I could try the tournaments. I'm prcheek on Game Center.
I'm after your tournament score! Added you. :] Have completed all levels but 5 .... It's such a frustrating level but I guess the best have been able to complete it so I'll keep plugging away.
Pink/purple ship parts I'm posting this because I haven't seen anyone else talk about it. I don't remember how I got it, but I believe it was just a random drop a few weeks ago. Has anyone else gotten any of these ship parts?
I have to admit I'm not chasing you this time as I've played the tournament once, saw it was the same as the previous one and couldn't bring myself to compete. Hopefully they add new levels/tournaments as I'm done with all the level objectives.

Just click on the plus in to top right hand corner and the type in the game centre name you want to add and a short message like "Sky force reloaded touch arcade" this help people know were you are from and not just a random person. I've just sent you a request to get you friends list rolling ready for next weekend tournament

added you also, started a new game on android. actually got the fabled Green Box on the 2nd mission. never saw it after 100's of games on iOS. WTF??!
Wow, just got one of those green boxes. Seemed like a lot of hassle shepherding it to the end for the sake of a boring temporary card...
If you already have a temp card activated or play on a harder difficulty it usually gives permanent cards. I've only got 1 temp from 4-5 green boxes.
