Judging from your response the first part of your name says it all. Learn to read.

Id like to know this also but Im pretty much doubting it does due to how the release touch/pause thing works. I don't think that would work on a controller.

Curious question : Did this game (its original) influence apocalypse meow, or the other way around? I played Apoc: Meow first so naturally I'm seeing all sorts of parallels but just curious which came first.

My Gamevice for iPhone *doesn't* work on my iPhone 6s Plus.
    It should be useless, though.

SkyForce 2014 was released in 2014, as the name implies.. #
Apocalypse Meow was released much later. I believe this year, maybe late 2015.

Besides that, there's been many iterations of SkyForce on many different platforms over the years.
Apocalypse Meow is a very good game, but this game is the daddy, and the best of its kind on the AppStore, by a long mile.

This is so ridiculously good, it's not ridiculous at all. I never got back into Sky Force 2014 (which I played forever) after switching back to iOS after a year of having a Note 3, and I TOTALLY regret that. Both are downloaded and I can see myself losing hours of my life to both of these games.

Now that the Sky Force series is brought up to speed in the modern era, I wonder if the success of these games will lead to a Sky Force 3, or maybe Infinite Dreams is looking into moving on to "new" things.

This is ok but nowhere near AirAttack 2.
(Contrary to their statement this this is the "last shmup you'll ever play")

    Taeles,

If you google. Skyforce and infinite dreams as a studio has been around since the early 2000's. I was an original beta tester for them for Skyforce and Skyforce reloaded which they were releasing on Palm OS and they were making a version specific to a device called the TapWave Zodiac 2. This was in 2004. The current releases are a bit different than those because back then they were pay games with no free to play stuff it was just full on playing but it was definitely Skyforce that influenced Apocalypse Meow. That game is good too but I do prefer Skyforce.

I hope this info helps you.
