Anyone have some tips for level 5 and 'staying untouched'. I'm on hard and struggling to make it through cleanly. Best to avoid the weapon disabling missile and shoot the turrets, or just let it get you and work on avoidance?
Yay, level 7 insane + ace of spades gave me 3 shots at finally grabbing the last card, got it on the third opportunity. I am so addicted to this game right now!
I think getting hit by EMP missile counts as "being hit" and fails the "no hit" star objective. Not sure, but the only times i've gotten the star is when i get through while still shooting.
Post update, I've noticed graphical glitches that causes slowdown. It makes the screen freeze, making me crash instantly. Also, it seems the power up stations are slightly "slower" than before. I may be wrong, but they feel slower in obtaining the power ups (usually the same time it takes to rescue POWs).
It's funny you mention this. I JUST got a card that says it disables the weapon disable me on stage 5. I get all happy. It turns it into stage 5 from the original game. The level that was the bane of my existence. Lol. My happiness was crushed. The devs are purely evil. Billy

And then I go and pass it immediately! But just to clarify, I got hit by the missile right at the end (plenty of cursing) but it actually doesn't count as a hit, so still got the 'no damage' award. #
Funny, I ended up 'staying untouched' before I got the perma-card that disabled the shields. Level 5 insane was actually the last level I completed for all the stars!
When did insane lvl 2 change on the boss. He now comes out while u rescue the last group and shoots massive bullets after he's blown up taking my card. So pissed

very funny game, i play every evening after work and i love it, add me _Ash_ so i can play tournament [emoji3]
I think its great. It is a high score chaser - no ending until you die. Fun to "flitter" over your Game Center friends as you come across their carcasses. Also good for getting stars. The tournament courses also change weekly so the game always has a fresh feeling to it. I have a lot of fun wth tournament and think it makes the game much better.
In tournament mode - does collecting stars net you any points? I honestly can't tell if they do. I die a lot trying to collect stars, but I certainly don't need to if there is no point value attached to them.
