Look, great game...it really is, but the F2P stuff is annoying & completely forgiven for some reason. Timers to use your ships, timers to upgrade your ship, must have friends to play a tournament (so go recruit your buddies to download the game). Oh well, I've bought the IAP, I like the game, so I'm a sucker too
The reason is pretty obvious. It isn't ftp in the usual sense of the term. If you buy the 1-time plane generator IAP, you no longer have timers that will prevent you from playing. If you buy the ad removal, there are no more ads. Essentially it's a premium game that you download for free and then upgrade when you want.
All true & it is a great game. I would just rather see no timers & no need for friends to play tournaments. Still loving the game & hoping for more (even though it already has plenty).
I think another mode should be added to the already levels that include all the new planes and boats that are on level 9. Like all enemies levels. Normal, hard, insane, and all enemies or call it anything. That will add more high scores and extra content
All levels mode? A mode for continuous play that takes you through all available stages would be cool. Plus it'll be a pretty good challenge on insane to get all objectives on all levels ie. the equivalent of 1cc Boss rush would be fun too and a good way for people to practice bosses without having to go through entire stages.
Stage 9 is really fun, especially on Insane But the cannons that shoot at us while we are reading the dialogs : it's a really sneaky move ^^
This game is still so ridiculously addictive. For some reason I find myself everyday starting at level 1 and going from level to level just to find GameCenter people to rescue. Then after I've done that I will try a level I need to get a star from to unlock the next level I haven't unlocked yet. I really love how they've integrated Gamecenter and I went from 19 Gamecenter friends to almost 100 because of this game. Thank you to everyone who has added me. My forum name is my Gamecenter name so the more the merrier lol I just got a permanent card in level 4 hard to activate the mega bomb pods. So now I have the Mega Bomb, Laser, and shield pod activator cards. It's totally awesome. This game is just freaken awesome! I can't wait to try the tournament this weekend. It was something I never could do in the first game. So I'm really looking forward to seeing how it works and what it looks like. I made a few star pack purchases just to throw Infinite Dreams more money. They've earned it with this update. I'm happy to have been supporting them since 2004. Billy
A couple minor nits. After the update, it seems like you don't see a gift when you reopen the game unless you go to another page and then come back to the main page. Or is that just happening for me? And with the number of GC friends I now have, the "flitted" notifications have become an absolute nuisance. Wish you could selectively turn those off. As it stands, I am going to have to just turn off notifications...or die much less #
