I hope more games copy this model . I wouldn't be mad at all. I would love to pay premium in the future but this was a great f2p model . Probably the best I've ever seen. Just a pop up add with no videos. Of course I bought the lap. Hope to see future add on levels . Would even buy them so it would be worth making and at a faster pace for an update . Think a majority of us are either done or close to it now . I've beat all levels through insane almost but two. Not all cards are found from me either . I will continue to do random thins like collect stars and rescue people to try to move up in my list of friends though
Hi. Just wanted to confirm to everyone still trying to get that last card that I don't think you can get it on hard levels. I got the last card this morning playing level 7 insane difficulty on my second try...after a week of trying on hard difficulty. Risk vs. Reward people. Good luck hunting for that last elusive card!! And they have already confirmed new levels coming so hang tight.
There have several postings of people getting the last card on hard levels. The card drops are random, but I think for that card, they probably put a "SF 2014" RNG and so it is just going to be luck to a large extent.
Did the developers disappear ? They don't write on Twitter or the forums. They could probably have a q&a session and answer all these mysteries
Not random, but more probability, where higher difficulty levels have higher chances of dropping cards. At least that's how i see it, considering i got the last 4 cards in a 2-hour period while trying to complete stars in levels 6 and 7 in Insane, and 8 in Hard, although i got all last 4 cards in the insane levels.
Yep. I have the break the wall down but the stupid missle follows You everywhere and it's the most annoying level From all games lol
I too struggle with 5, it seems that the rocket that follows you around makes tighter turns than the first game. Even with a maxed out plane and using the one that has max fire rate I can not destroy the turrets fast enough. It does not help that since they limited the plane upgrades, some of the later level difficulties are all but impossible to get all objectives because the plane is not strong enough. Which is sad. At first I understood that they didnt want the plane maxed out when they updated with new levels, but I am going to have so much stars built up by the time they do add them that I will instantly max out the plane anyways so it doesnt make sense anymore lol.
The game is more strategic than most traditional evade-centric shmups because it encourages you to make use of the consumable abilities. On the downside, it could get expensive trying to have at least 3 shields and 3 lasers to ace the later insane stages. This, i agree with much.
Jay, just like the last game, you can't buy lasers, bombs, or shields for level 5. It's more of a 'how many stars can you collect' level, not be damaged, and rescue people. I still can't figure out how to destroy all the towers in Sky Force 2014. With that being said, as much as I liked the original, this one is even better.
So I just logged in and there was a little man icon on stage 7 instead of the number 7, so I played it, and toward the end there was a guy to rescue with an exclamation point over him. I rescued him, finished the stage, and... nothing, nothing happened. Big letdown, what's the deal here?
User53 & Jayg2015-- On level 5 insane I'm just missing the "rescue all people" objective. You don't need to destroy all the towers, you just need to collect all the stars, therefore a maxed out limp berserker is more than capable for the job. My only problem is with collecting the people as I'm using the medic plane and that makes the mission that much harder with less firepower. I've just collected all the stars on level 8 hard so now I just have to complete that one objective on level 5 and the final 4 on level 8 so only have 5 more objectives to do in total. Done all the rest. A bit nuts I've put all the effort into this Oh and I'm still missing that final elusive card! EDIT: on level 8 insane just got the 70% of enemies objective done. So 4 more medals in total left. To get the 100% sure seems like quite the challenge!
I've been busy so I've not had much time to play. But just now I got the green cube AGAIN! Level 2 this time. I learned this time around that your magnet can draw the cube closer to you. I had to use this strategy cause I kept shooting the cube past the dispenser at the end. Took me like 5 tries but it gave me the super nova dispenser card. #
I have never seen the green cube. I play every day - guess I will purposefully NOT play for several days in hopes that I will come across a green cube. I think that Infinite Dreams makes some great games, but for the life of me, I can't figure out why they make things so difficult to obtain.
I tried to activate the supercharger using the thumb of my left hand while navigating the ship with my right index finger. It says it only needs a second finger to activate it but it does not work. It only works when I used my thumb or middle finger of the same hand. Anyone have this issue?
Finally got all the cards and all the medals ! The temporary card with max fire rate helps a lot. You can use the ambulance for rescuing people and the fast ship or the one with "+10% main cannon damage" for 100% enemy and "don't get touched" Great game ! For those wondering, I got the final card on level 7 Insane (3rd try while having a temporary card) with the black ship. I did 5 or 6 runs on level 4 Insane before but didn't see the card. I've already done "perfect runs" for levels 1,2,3 and 6. My total score is around 25 millions. I could get a lot more points on level 5 but I can't manage to destroy every enemies for now.

First level available along Stage 04. We're planning on adding 4 more campaign stages and 4 tournament stages with 3-4 week intervals (each time a campaign stage and a tournament stage). * Maximum equipment levels will be raised with each update.
