This game finally peaked and now slowly starting to decline in posts. I think what happens is every spends literally every minute playing and get burned out or beat the game within a day or so and now they are done.
Oh but what enjoyable hours they were. Of course, once new difficultylevels, upgrade options and new zones get added, we can all jump right back in. I am also missing the weekly leaderboard challenge that the last game had. I hope that comes again as it was fun to try and beat your friends scores every week.
I am nowhere near beating it - just reaching the point where I cant advance. Trying different ships, but I might have to wait for the new content. I am assuming they will eventually increase the firepower to allow us less quick people to continue to advance.
I'm still playing, but today i'm having a dry spell on perm cards. But on the upside I'm climbing spots still on the leaderboard and not even maxed out. I may see about streaming some later on, if I can get it up and running.
I only have 4 cards. I've unlocked every level . Half of them insane. Looks like everyone else has unlocked mostly all of them at this point
I dont know if it works, but I try and use the ship that increases card drop rate. Also, I think that you need to play levels that aren't completed with all the circles filled. Lastly, if you can get a temporal card, if you do get a card it should be permanent. I seemed to find cards on 4 hard, 6 easy (when I did not have all circles), 7, and 8. Grinding for cards can be a pain - so exciting when you get one though. I have got some temporal cards and lots of stars from you - thanks!
Awesome thanks for the info. I guess I need to Grind it out some more. Every time I find a piece of planes or card die I die almost right after lol. Where the screen is covered with bullets and missiles it's almost immpossible for me to activate a shield. Would be very good if it activates on its own if you have one I your inventory after u get hit. Would be the best update formme
You sort of need to memorize levels and when you hit those bullet hell areas, take your finger off the ship so it slows way dow, pop a shield and get up close to blow things away or us shield in combo with laser or megabomb. I am not an expert, but I do Ok. Using Iron Clad can help and concentrate mostly on starts to level up the ship. I die frequently trying to rescue friends. Lol.
90% of the time I find a perma card my ship blows up. Damn this game! Love and hate with this game really. I think I can't handle the nerves when I realize I'll lose that card if I can't beat the level, which makes me play worse.
@PeterID - I have a suggestion as I am trying to increase my top score. Is there a way we can know which levels we have made "perfect" runs on ie. Getting all 4 medals in 1 run? I just finished getting it on hard level 4, but then I look at all the other levels and have no idea which others (I know I have others in 1,2, and 3) I have perfect runs. Other than keeping track with personal notes, I think it would be cool to have some indication of this - maybe a change of color of the medal indicators like purple? Not sure if others might be interested in something like this.
Sure. I'd be even more interested to know during a run whether certain achievements are no longer possible. I know it says "chain lost", but that can mean a number of things.
The easiest way to grind cards is to play level 7 on hard which isn't so difficult while flying the Ace of Spades ship. You usually get one of the temporary cards first (not always) and when it's activated, you'll get the permanent cards.
Chain lost is when you miss an enemy. The counter bar up top (the blue one) will reset back to zero. I think its good, nice, excellent, wonderful, superb, god-like. The last 2 you generally have to be on higher levels or have levels with lots of enemies to achieve.
There is no perfect run, there is always a chance to improve your score. You must get all 4 medals, get stars from the crates instead of a weapons, rescue dead friends... And when you have all cards it will give you +10% score bonus. GameCenter ID: Tatanak
