I just got my first cards in the game, 03 (lucky shield) and 16 (activate energy shield dispensers). How do they exactly work? Thanks!
Lucky= chance for shield when hit and othervise dead Dispenser= find 'platform' with icon on, in level, hover over it => gives you free powerup of that type
Nice trick to get the permanent cards: You can never have 2 temporary cards active at the same time. If you have one active, gifts etc will be something else (parts, money etc). So: Wait untill you get a temp-card Play a impossible/nightmare level using the 'more cards' ships => the cards you get, will NOT be temp, as long as the other temp effect is active Played level 2 on impossible with that ship, 2 times in a row = 2 non-temp cards
As much as I enjoy SFR, I would encourage you to not let go of AA2 too quickly. There is a different learning curve, but once you start getting the hang of it, its a blast. I actually finished the game and upgraded everything to max, something I almost never do SF2014 is the precursor to this game, I have not tried Awesome Meow - will check it out.
I really would like a instant shield when you have shields in your inventory. I cannot stand trying to beat a level and get to the end with the screen of bullets and misses trying to activate shield . I have died so many times because of this crap. Ok I feel better now but really this needs fixed imo
There is a lucky shield card that activates (sometimes) when you get hit. There is definitely some memorization required for the levels to see when hard places are coming up. You can always lift your finger and things will slow to a crawl. If you need to, activate a shield. I have troubale with insane levels, but others obviously get through. There is a learning curve and practice required. And, if it makes you feel any better I am dying on everything insane past level 3. But, I know it can be done. One more time....
I'm back to using 3D touch for shield activation. It can be crazy sensitive but there's just no better way.
Good stuff. What I like doing is using the card hunter ship whenever I get the temporary max fire rate card. I otherwise almost exclusively use Limp Berzerker, but this is the best of both worlds. Just got two permanent card in a row on 4 hard that way.
I like it when I get the increased card drop, then I can use Iron Clad and hopefully not die when I do something stupid and get a hit. Level 4 is a great place to go through and "rescue" all the "dead" GC friends. Lol
I just rescued a lot of you heh. I need one more piece and I have all the current ships....cept the two everybody is missing. I still don't have many cards but that should change since I farmed an increase card perminant card. I probably sent out some cards and parts awhile ago to y'all playing. I gotta say our little community we have on this game makes the game even more fun. I'm enjoying climbing my way slowly up the leader board. Also I recommend air attack 2 also. I spent months playing that after release. Maxed out ships and went for high scores and did the daily stages.
Just 2014. The original and the first "reloaded" (which kinda morphed into a pre-2014 version at some point) are no longer available unless you already owned them.
It's not about no one knowing. It's all about figuring it out yourself, which is what most did. Just farm which ever stage you are guaranteed to complete, and allows you to upgrade in one or 2 runs if possible. It is different for each one. Depends which one you are confident completing. The game is balanced enough that each stage gives out more stars than the previous one, and each difficulty level gives out even more.
Neener, I actually have the 2004 copies of Skyforce and Skyforce Reloaded, special editions made for the TapWave Zodiac 2. They are made for a special version of Palm OS 5.2T They are fully premium and amazing games. That's when I fell in love with SkyForce and Infinite Dreams. I originally was a registered developer for TapWave so my device is a special developer version of the Zodiac so I remember beta testing the controls for both games. Now I'm going to have to go find the box and charge it up and pray the SD cards still have all of the data intact hehehe if I can get it up and going I'll post some screenshots of the 2004 versions. Billy
Thanks Neal. I think it was you that helped me complete my last ship ## There are a lot of hidden achievements on this. We should compile a list.
